college infrastructure is very good. we have wifi in our hostel and the mess food is average. we have the proper equipments in the laboratory. we have very fantastic library where we can get so many books.
Students are competitive reading semesters and in other fields of education of all branches. The college not only focuses on the quality that it pushes the students to gain good knowledge but also on the contribution that the students make out of it .
The quality of placements has been pretty for the past 10 years. The average salary offered is 5 lakhs and if you are good at core subject, you can get upto 8 to 12 lakhs. The placement process is good as we can apply for all companies.
Yes, my college does have the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. In our classrooms we have nearly 40benches, one projector. Labs have all the equipment that can be used for any experiment you are interested in.
Quality of teaching is very good .Teachers helps us to do practicals and encourage to give us presentations on covered topics to help us know better. They update every opportunity for internships through WhatsApp and encourage us to register for every opportunity available related to our course.
As of I heard, the placements in my campus are very well and eye grabbing. The percentage of students placed are approximately 55% above. Average salary offered by core companies of cse department is 8 to 12 lakhs.
College campus is fully green decent class room. Lab are well mentioned, there is a college hostel which provides best facilities at low coast .annual hostel fees 55000.all the facilities are provided in college hostel like indoor outdoor gaming and all type function.
According to academics this is the best college . Experienced seniors faculties are available at any time for the students from high standard Universities.Good relationship is maintained among the students and faculty members .
Highest placement is 40 lacs and average placement is 10 lacs. Maximum placement from bcom courses. Few companies visit like Byjus , Paytm etc. Average placement percentage is 60% . In maths honours placement is not very good.
We have 3 blocks in the college (for academic purposes namely, vindhya, nilgiri and himalya) , all of them are well desingned, further we have research centre called kcis which embodies most of the research labs of IIIT.
I am pursuing Btech in computer science and masters in computational linguistics by research. I had keen interest in linguistics when I got to know about its aspects from my fellow seniors. The academic curriculum is well updated and the institute has one of the best team of researchers for it.
The placements are pretty nice, and has been a major source of attraction for the college from long. The college boasts its 100% placements from very long and has a high average package. The internships are also pretty decent.
The course costs about 1.8 lakhs per semester, which is actually quite a lot in comparison other engineering institutions. We are often told by the administration the reason for it is the public private partnership nature of the college.
The campus life is pretty decent, there are several cubs and numerous events in the campus. The college is often dreaded as very hectic and eat sleep repeat code, but it is not very true to be honest, as there are several opportunities in the college to enjoy.
Nothing
The hostels have twin sharing rooms (till 3rd year), with common bathrooms, common laundry and monthly room cleaning services. There are 4 messes, north, south, non-veg and Jain mess to suit everybody. There are medical facilities available within the campus with an on-campus nurse and counsellor. Wi-Fi is available only in specific places in the campus and LAN is available in the hostel only after the first year of college. There is a library with all the required course textbooks.
Faculty members in our college are helpful to students in making them stronger and clever, and they never discourage us. They are well-educated, and almost half of the faculty members are from IITs of North India. They are knowledgeable, so they can easily make us brighter with their thoughts. The course curriculum is very well-designed by the institute. It is a research-based college. So, no industry exposure is provided, but you are a research student, you can have many advantages.
Quality of placements is excellent. College placement cell calls the companies , also the average package offered is more than 20 LPA. Placement process is easy and pleasant for every student in the campus. Many opportunities time to time are provided to students.
No worries whatsoever when it comes to technical facilities like Lab Equipment for both CSE and ECE, I'd go as far as to say that it has one of the best lab facilities in India :) Hostel is pretty good as well, Slightly small in terms of its room size. But, nothing un-adjustable. Food is not as good as home-cooked ofc, But It was lot better than what I had at IITs tbh, So that's good as well. You don't like the food? No worries lol there are 20+ Restros on the mainroad which is walkable to.
Academics are dope ngl. They focus a lot on the Course itself, as in starting CS and ECE courses early (from 1st sem itself). This gives good advantage for us towards the end of 1st year. Curriculum is completely different from IITs and NITs, mostly inspired by top uni's like MIT and Stanford. Its slightly hectic, especially in the start, But you will get used to workload. Academics-wise, No issues. Keep in mind that academics won't be a cake walk here, So you WILL have to put lot of effort ;)
I am not super aware of the placement scenario, But from what I saw with my seniors they're pretty good. Median Package CTC for CSE was around 26.5 LPA this year and highest being around ~80 LPA. ~19 LPA for ECE afaik, which is fairly decent imo. Almost all major companies visit here for placements, so working hard will definitely pay off :)
Per year its around 7 LPA fees. A little too much in my opinion but its okay considering the fact that this college is a PPE (Public-Private). Slightly underwhelming Sport Facilities compared to what you'd expect from the Fees. But there's a stadium right beside, so you won't be too disappointed. I don't feel like I've overpaid but that feeling of too much fees does show up every now and then
Good Campus Life. In the middle of the City, So no issues in terms of fun and food. Stadium, Restro and Metro, all are close enough to the college. Profs are pretty friendly, Students as well. Some are focused fully on studies, Some just chill etc. College Location is definitely ideal and all facilities are at walkable distance. Advantage of college life here is having a good community and availability of resources. Minus is hectic workload and lack of

The college provides 100% placements. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. Companies like Google, Facebook, TCS, and many other reputed companies visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is more than 1 crore per annum. The college provides both domestic and international placements. Internship data is not clear. There is a coding culture in college. If you like coding, then you will not find a better place than here in India.
faculty members are very helpful, and also seniors are very helpful. The student to faculty ratio is around 25:1. Our faculty taught us through chalk and board which is the best way of teaching. our course costs around 2 lakhs. There are internships organised to provide industry exposure. There is a entrepreneurs lab for budding startups.courses are held in class but the material and assignments are available and to be submitted online
I was very interested in computer Science from the +1 level. I was fascinated by data analytics when I did I project in my school. And I did a ai bot which driven my interest through the course. If the interaction between students and teachers is improved and fewer assignments are given as this makes the schedule hectic and kills own campus life. IIIT Hyderabad has its annual fest called felicity on fiesta or second month of every year. Normal tech events occur frequently and campus crowd
Overall the academics of the college is excellent if one is interested in studying.
Yes, college provide all the necessary facilities in the campus. Also, it is compulsory for each and every student to stay in hostels. All the hostels are well maintained with all the necessary facilities available. Food served is hygienic.
Quality of teaching is good. Many faculties had completed their Ph.D and they are of most experienced one. Labs are well equipped with Air conditioner facility available in the campus. Campus has also yoga room, where students can perform yoga in morning with guidance of teacher.
Quality of placements is excellent. College placement cell calls the companies , also the average package offered is more than 20 LPA. Placement process is easy and pleasant for every student in the campus. Many opportunities time to time are provided to students.
For a student of general category fees is approx 2 LPA. Also, college provide scholarship to the students whose family income is less.
College campus is best. There is also a TA culture available in the campus which teaches you the most. Location is also safe. Also, there is Arogya mini hospital situated in the campus.
Join this college if you want to make a good career in engineering field.

Hello Mr. Bini,
Considering your son's rank in JEE Main (3715 in General category, Maharashtra), here below is the categorization that might help you narrow down the options:
CSE in NIT Calicut (or Other NITs):
ECE in IIIT Hyderabad:
ECE in NIT Warangal/Surathkal/Trichy/Rourkela:
If the emphasis is on core tech roles and software engineering, get him a place in CSE at a top NIT (ideally Trichy, Warangal, or Surathkal). If there is a willingness to accept a comprehensive, research-based academic program, with future scope in core tech, AI or higher studies, then ECE at IIIT Hyderabad could be the best long term option. Do not opt for lower-tier NITs if you can get him into one of these higher tier institutes.
Yes, you can potentially leave IIIT Hyderabad after completing the BTech portion of the integrated program, but you may not receive a BTech degree. The specific details depend on the admission route (LEEE or UGEE) and the IIIT Hyderabad regulations.
LEEE Admission:
If you were admitted through LEEE (Lateral Entry Entrance Examination), which allows direct entry into the second year of the BTech program, you are eligible to leave after completing the BTech requirements without pursuing the MS program.
UGEE Admission:
If you were admitted through UGEE (Undergraduate Entrance Examination) and choose to leave after completing the BTech, you may still be awarded a BTech degree, but you would not be able to pursue the MS portion of the dual degree.
IIIT Hyderabad Regulations:
It's crucial to check the specific regulations of IIIT Hyderabad regarding the dual-degree program, as they may have specific rules about exiting after completing the BTech, as noted in the dual-degree program information from the IIIT Hyderabad website.
Dual Degree Benefits:
A dual degree (BTech + MS) is generally considered to have better career prospects than a standalone BTech degree from IIIT Hyderabad.
