Yes, you would get the seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.  As you got a least rank and congratulations for that which makes you to go to jntu easily, but we are not sure about the branch you are aptfor because you have not mentioned your category or location and also your mode of interest. but if you go through the process of counselling you would get jntu of sure.

As per the cutoff declared lastly in the previous years the rank requirements for the Aeronautical Engineering  in the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, the rank must range between 7k to 15k as per the records, as you told that the rank of yours is 12k you can easily go into the coarse of your wish by the general counselling itself.

For general candidates, it will be less than 2000, for bc category it may be less than 3000 and for sc and st candidates it maY vary from 8000 to 10000.

So if you belong to category also it is not possible.

Charan, it is a very close cut situation for you. This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. The college stops taking students after the rank of 38000. Hence I suggest you to give it a try.

As JNTUH is one of the top universities, you need to score below 8000 to get there. You might not be getting into JNTUH with your rank.
