Andhra Pradesh Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test(AP PGECET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE for admission to ME/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm programs. 

According to previous year cutoff you must get admission in jntua or jntuk. Just wait for this year cutoffs and hope for the best.

As you know MTech is a gateway to research  and specialization. So the faculty and infrastructure plays a vital role. So I will prefer JNTU kakinad over Anantpur because infrastructurally they have almost the same facility but in terms of active participation in research among the faculties is more in kakinad. This feature at kakinad will help you to have a knowledge in the recent research and finding in the field of Biotechnology.

I would like to suggest you that you should also do a research by yourself about both the colleges and then to come to a conclusion.

Jntuk is one of the reputed college for engineering. Both the branches are good at present.

CSE has more scope when joined in IIT and NIT because more bigger companies will come to recruit you with high package. EEE also have lot of oppurtunites but less than CSE when compared.

The highest package for CSE can be upto 10 lakh per annum and varies accordingly as it depends kn candidates skills. The highest package for EEE may be ranging upto 8 to 9 lakh per annum.

Still you have chances to get into jntuk aa cutoffs tend to change every year

You can get into other top colleges like Sri Venkateswara University,jntu Ananthapur based on your rank

Yes, you will be able to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Kakinada for Information Technology branch.

Last year's closing rank (last round) for IT branch for EWS category was 22803 and the closing rank (last round) of the same for the year 2018 was 18655.

Although cut offs may vary year-to-year due to changes in the number of candidates appearing for the entrance, total number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam etc. , still as you have ranked much lesser than the usual closing ranks your chances for admission is higher.

Hope you are doing well. As per your query JNTU Kakinada is a very renowned and good college for pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science. The faculties and staff there are well experienced and highly cooperative. The placement status of the college is also decent. Almost 70% students were placed with good packages but it is tough to secure a job for an average student. In CSE the highest salary offered was 12 LPA while the lowest was 4 LPA.
