Infrastructure of college and department is very good. Classrooms are well-built and structured. There are many labs with a maximum capacity of around 80 students at a time. AC rooms are also available, all around the university. Wi-Fi is available and with good connection, in every hostel, you will find Wi-Fi with good connectivity.
Faculty members of our college are very friendly, helpful, and well-qualified. Some teachers studied at IIT and many big colleges in India, they are well knowledgeable in their fields. Course curriculum is very good, they make students ready for industry in their fields. There are 4 exams in every semester, 2 sessional, 1 mid term and then end term.
Placements in our college for B.Tech computer Science are average. The average placement is around 3 LPA-4 LPA and around 60% of students got on-campus placement. The highest placement is 12 LPA, and the minimum is 1.2 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Amazon, TCS, and Velocity often arrive for on-campus placements, so overall for B.Tech in computer science.
One thing I have to mention is that our college campus is fantastic. It features a volleyball court, basketball court, swimming pool, tennis court, and badminton court. The hostels are also very good, costing about 3k per semester, and the mess food is quite nice at around 2500 per month.
Most of the teachers are really helpful and well-qualified, with many coming from IIT, NIT, and foreign institutions. 2. The course curriculum is also quite good; you have the option to choose courses, although there are some non-course-related subjects such as biology and EVS. 3. There are four exams: two sessionals, one midterm, and one end term (totaling 100 marks). The relative grading system helps improve your grades.
I believe around 60 to 70% of students are placed in my course. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Microsoft (which visited once), Flipkart, and Amazon (which visited once or twice), along with many other companies. The highest package is 37 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is between 6.5 and 7. Internships are up to the student.
The college hostels are pretty good compared to other government institutions. Classrooms have the required facilities, although not all of them. The campus Wi-Fi works in certain areas but isn't very dependable. The mess food is also quite decent. Sports facilities are available and quite active.
It is surprising at times to see how well-qualified some professors are, with some having studied at top universities around the world and others holding very high AIR rankings in national exams. Some teachers might not be very friendly, but overall, the majority are very helpful. Curriculum is also updated according to the latest NEP course structure. The exams are also quite easy.
While the college placement cell itself might not be the best, it doesn't hold back students from landing great offers. This year (2025 batch), 8 students from the ECE branch land PSU placements of 12.5–13 LPA. Previously as well, CSE students land jobs up to 37 LPA, and many score well in GATE exams and go abroad for further studies.
The college provide good infrastructure like every college. It provides a practical session area. Better lab facilities are available. Some equipment is available, but due to lack of equipment students are unable to work on it, which makes it more difficult.
The college Faculty members are joined and appointed as same as in every government college. They provide better lectures than others but there is the availability of permanent staff and as a result, temporary staff changes frequently which can cause problems.
The college placements are not at all good because of the approach from many companies towards the college as it is difficult to travel and get people from here. So many companies won't reach here thereby decreasing placement opportunities for students.
It provides well-maintained classrooms, and modern features like a projector, Wi-Fi, and various engineering disciplines. The hostel is available with limited seats. It has a canteen. The mess facility is also provided. It has sports facilities like football and basketball.
Very helpful and highly qualified faculty members are available here. Students can easily understand the topics. The course curriculum is outdated and not relevant to the current industry. It provides practical training and projects in the curriculum. Exams are moderately easy. Students can score high marks.
It provides a decent placement rate from various top companies. Placements are the key concern. There are more placements in the IT sector than in the core engineering fields. In mechanical engineering, the top recruiting companies are L&T, MRF, etc. It provides average salary packages to students.
The Infrastructure is same as that of a government office. This college is nearly of 70 acres. They have a very good ground, mainly there are 3 grounds. One is known as the hockey ground, the other basketball, and the other football. And the labs here are also good with really good infrastructure.
Faculty here is also pleasant. Each department has its own faculty. Exams are conducted strictly and supervised. Faculty keeps reminding us about our KTU exam registrations in time. They also share news of internships and workshops in the WhatsApp group. Overall, they are very helpful.
The 60% of students, including myself, secured placements from our college, with an average package offered between 3 LPA and 3.5 LPA, and key recruiters included Eves Recruiter, TCS, and 1M1B, additionally, 100% of students completed internships as it was a mandatory subject, leading to common roles like marketing manager and HR.
Though I'm staying in a college PG, the food is not that much good over here in our PG. Quality-wise, it is also not good. We have to buy some heavy foods and snacks from outside. The food is not that much good; we have to adjust a lot for the food, and the room is good. But for the study environment, it is not that much good. We have to go to the library for studies.
Teachers are very helpful in our department; they help us a lot in everything, whether it is related to academic or non-academic. When it comes to exams, it is actually very tough. Though they ask all the questions from the study materials, the question pattern is a little bit tough.
Almost 90% of the students got a placement with decent packages. The average package is around 5 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 6.2 LPA. Maximum offers are from medium-range companies. Our college basically focuses on the maximum placement; it does not matter whether they are getting the best placement or not.
The college infrastructure is good; we have lots of computer labs for student use. And have regular maintenance. There is a whole block for the library, and they also provide computers in the library, which helps a lot. There are good classrooms with good benches and projectors for the presentation.
The college teacher good at interacting with students. And teachers are well qualified. The semester exam is done via computer, which helps reduce cheating and get the result we deserve. Students were taken on an industrial visit, during which they got to know the real-life scenarios of the field better.
Almost 20-40% of students get placed in batches. And the good thing is that the percentage keeps growing over consecutive years. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, etc. are coming to recruit. The internship program is introduced and connected from the 1st semester onwards.
The college infrastructure is good. Classrooms are smart-enabled and well maintained. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and labs are well-equipped with necessary systems and software. The library has a good collection of technical books. Hostel facilities are decent, with good food, 24/7 water supply, and security. Cleanliness and maintenance are regularly done. There’s also a gym, medical facilities, and recreational spaces.
The college faculty members are experienced, helpful, and knowledgeable. Most are from reputed universities and always ready to clear doubts. The curriculum is updated to match industry trends like AI, ML, and Data Science. It helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable if you attend classes regularly. Pass percentage is decent, around 85-90%.
Around 60-70% of students from our college batch got placed. The highest package was around 10 LPA in a top MNC, and the average package ranges between 3-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Teach Mahindra, and Byju's visited our campus. Some students received internships at startups and mid-size teaching firms. Roles like software developer, web developer, and technical support engineer were offered. Placement support is decent but could improve with more core teaching companies.
The college has all the facilities which are need, including Wi-Fi, Mac and Windows labs, a library, and classrooms. The hostel is good but expensive, and the food quality is poor. They have a lot of sports activities, and they conduct university matches.
The faculty of the college is very supportive and they also have good enough knowledge of our course and industrial experience also. The exam of our course is taken very well, as the exam control department is very alert and quick to respond; that's why the cheating during the exam is neglected.
The placements of the college are better than those of other colleges, nearly about 70 percent. The average package of this college is about 4-3.60 Lacs per annum and they also provides internship opportunity to students to improve their skills and academics .
