The college infrastructure is good its not a huge college short concise greenery. There is Wi-Fi in classrooms but like it gives slow speed. There is a great library a plus point for book readers. I don't live in hostel but the negative point, it is not inside the college. It is located a little bit far from college which may hinder some people. There are many places to eat like 3 canteens, coffee shops, and bakeries juice centres also.
So I really support the curriculum that our college follows it follows a practical approach to learning things a lot as we are focused on different projects as well as assignments like coding assignments. The exam pattern is easy as we have mid-term online. The labs and coding exams are also offline. There are many subjects to train your speaking skills. Many technical clubs come in handy so overall a great curriculum for students.
As the average placements of engineering colleges has above average or even good placements as of the record 2023. But due to the high intake of students from 2024 we are not sure about the future. Still, this college has some strong connections with tech companies so companies do come also. The average package is around 4 -7 LPA. The highest salary is 15 LPA to 20 LPA. See the rest I might say that it depends on student's approach to their studies. Obviously the branch that is in demand as well as contains many opportunities for student.
The campus is good but is located far away from the city, 20 KM away from Bengaluru. The university has a good infrastructure with all the facilities. But you won't find Wi-Fi everywhere. AC classrooms are provided to star batches who pay extra fees. Otherwise, you will get a non-AC classroom which is also decent. Labs and library are maintained very well. There is a lot of sports ground also consisting of cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, etc.
Teachers are nice but you will also find some teachers who will make you irritated by giving unnecessary workloads. But that's common in every university. The course curriculum is relevant and during the exams, if you study a little also and study smartly just by doing the assignments and modules, you will score more than 70%. 40 marks out of 100 are required to pass a semester-end examination.
The highest package is 14 LPA this year whereas the lowest package is 4-5 LPA. Since I am in the first year I don't know the exact data. Intel, Dell, Wipro, Accenture, and TCS are some of the companies that visited this year for recruitment. Placements are pretty good as what I have heard from my seniors.
The college food in the mess is quite repetitive. It's good in the beginning, but eventually, it gets boring. The Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. There is no medical facility on campus, so if we get sick, we need to go to the nearest hospital.
Th college faculty for the non-IT subjects are great but according to my experience, the IT faculty are not so good. At times they just read PPTs and don't explain the concept much. Our Maths faculty is really good. Chemistry and English faculty members are good as well.
I got to know from seniors that the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the minimum package is about is 4-7 LPA It's important to search for internships on our own. They provide free access to Coursera for students to learn as many skills as possible.
The college will provide Wi-Fi facility in the campus is definitely slow. I mostly use mobile data to get things done, and even faculty suggests using mobile data for official work, as they are aware of the slow Wi-Fi. Sometimes it works well, sometimes not at all. As for the hostel, the outside hostel has washing machines good luck finding a functional one that's unoccupied. Wi-Fi in the hostel is slow but somehow works faster on laptops
There are internal assessments and lab exams, but for the IA exams, they literally schedule two exams per day, so we have to sacrifice studying for 4 out 8 of subjects, you can guess how that goes. As for faculty members, they're alright, sometimes, you definitely have to rely on ChatGPT and YouTube, or else you won’t survive.
The placement packages have a very good range, from average to super-dream level. Both Indian and foreign MNCs recruit, as per my knowledge. Students get training for company interviews from the third year onward to ensure they are capable and the college placement is average.
For the first-year students, the hostel is not on campus, but from the second year, the hostel is on campus. The Wi-Fi in both the college and the hostel is good. Facilities in the college are also good. The food is of good quality and quantity. Everything mentioned above is available in the college.
The college academic sessions do not occur as often as placement training. Students are mostly asked to research and understand the concepts themselves. Tests and internals are conducted before approaching the semester for practice and to correct our mistakes during the main exams.
The college placement classes are conducted more frequently compared to academic sessions. Companies like Hyundai, LG Electronics, and Havells visit for yearly placements. Cracking the placement tests of such companies is really hard, so we undergo rigorous training from the first semester itself.
The college hostel is pretty much okayish, not so good I would say because I have seen my friends complaining about the hostel food and all, and also they are building a new hostel now. Wi-Fi, sports, and games are always there, but unfortunately, I am not in the hostel, so I don't know what exactly is happening there.
The college professors are well experienced and knowledgeable, and they are very friendly. The teaching quality is good. But when it comes to the curriculum, it is equivalent to IIT, and the exams are very difficult. Pass percentage is around 90%. So buckle up, folks.
Around 80% were placed and the highest package was like 10-16 LPA and the lowest was 4-3 LPA. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, and Siemens. The top roles were SDE and data analyst. Core companies were a little less for mechanical and electrical, but for computer science, it was good.
The campus life, infrastructure, and both indoor and outdoor places are really well-maintained and well-equipped. This is one of the attractions at PES, where we get to see a huge block just for indoor sports and other co-scholastic activities. Here at PES, students get to play sports whenever they want, there are separate fields for different outdoor sports. One of the most attractive being is the cricket ground.
The college teachers are very helpful, and every student is mentored by one of the faculty members. The teaching is good, though not for everyone. The curriculum is relevant, as it is different from other colleges and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are easy, as they are taught in the classes.
60-70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package on our campus is 56 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average package is between 7 LPA to 12 LPA. Companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and a few other MNCs etc. I don't know much about internships as I am in my final year.
The college hostel facilities are good like washrooms are clean. There is a vending machine in girls hostel. But for North Indians mess food is a little disappointing but you will get used to it but its healthy and variety is also there. Sports places are not that much developed in the hostel but in college sports facilities are good. But they are working on it in the hostel.
Faculty members are very nice. If anyone wants to study then the faculty and their way of teaching are very nice. Also, the course curriculum is very relevant to industry requiredments , it will surely make you industry ready. The semester exams are not that tough but its tough but if you study then it will not be tough for you
The placement of Btech branch is awesome as I asked one of my mechanical senior, she got 18 LPA packages in only core branch in 3rd year. The attendance policy is a little tough like 80%. But overall college is awesome and college placement management team is also nice helps students to get internship.
The hostel is very excellent, spacious, and has charming architecture is provided. There are single rooms for 2nd years and above. The food in the mess is good too with lots of variety even if it tends to get boring after a while. The library is also known as the Knowledge Research Center. It is very big with lots of books and e-resources. Labs are equipped with the best possible and updated equipment. The Wi-Fi is super fast here, in the full campus.
Most teachers are very helpful, especially when you want to do projects and learn more things under their tutelage. The course curriculum is pretty updated and gives a lot of time for individual learning. The resources for the courses are many. Exams usually depend on the professors, as their grading scheme. The syllabus is the deciding factor for the CGPA.
This year, only 15 out of 45 students got placed. But I am sure only 10-15 applied for placements as most are inclined to research. Internships are offered by multiple types of companies like software companies but also other ones like LIGO. Some people did internships in universities.
The college will provide good Wi-Fi network is all over the college. The labs and classrooms have smart board facilities. The quality of the hostel and food is really good. There is a well-facilitated library with proper management. There is a hospital inside NIT Trichy, and there is a stadium as well.
The college group of students is allotted mentors and pre-mentors to clear their doubts. So, students have no problem with their studies. The passing marks are based on the class percentage, and to have placement, we should maintain an 8-7 CGPA. The semester exams are hard to medium.
There are 2 classes for MCE, which are A and B. Each class has 70 members. 15 LPA is the highest package, and 6 LPA is the lowest for CSE. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Aricent, Ashok Leyland, Facebook, Honeywell, HP, HDFC Bank, ITC, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), so on.
Hi, the admission through JEE Mains is based on the rank rather than the percentile. Moreover, you have not specified the rank you gave gained. The chance of getting shortlisted for any of the colleges is based on the JEE Main rank. At the same time the selection to the
