hi!
Please Pick NIT trichy over CEG anyday.
The faculty at NIT trichy and the exposure there is unbeatable compared to CEG where exposure and teaching in the ECE department is below average.
NIT trichy offers a better holistic approach towards its student activities.
placements are better at NIT trichy.
Hello,
I want to inform you that with such a low score its difficult for you to get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nit trichy .
Nit trichy is the most reputed nit so it has high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission.
So either you option for different national institute with your ews rank or take chance in nit trichy during special round might you get a seat in non core branches.
Hope it helps!!!
Hi Afreen,
To be honest, at this rank if you're expecting a seat in NIT Trichy then you are in for a disappointment. Now, it's not that you shouldn't reply, cutoffs tend to drop drastically in spot round but that much drop is not possible. You might end up with the following colleges:
Now, since the schedule of CSAB special round has not been announced yet, I would suggest you to keep your backup ready. Keep checking the website for more details and read the article below for more details:

All the best
Hello Ravi, you have pretty decent percentage in it with that percentage you are pretty much eligible for most of the college out there. Now as per your query you have doubt that as you're percentage in not 70% then you can not land your self in good college, it is obvious you need minimum of 75% to get seat in any NIT. Hope this helps!!!
Yes you can get a seat in nit trichy through dasa category . You can give sat and apply for it . It will be certainly easier than jee and also competition will be less.
Please follow the link mentioned to get detailed information about the courses and number of NRI students they allow for admission in different nits

Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Hello Jyoti!!
Being from obc category can help you to get good seat but seeing previous year cut off and closing rank it is very difficult for you to get mechanical if you are from other state qouta.
So,you can participate in special round also but chances are very less.
Hope it helps!!

Hello Monish,
You can take admissions at NITs through JEE paper 2 via 2 quotas, i.e.
1. Home state quota
2. Other state quota
The cutoffs are also different based on category (Open, OBC-NCL, SC, ST)
You can visit the below link to know the trends of opening and closing rank of NITs based on quotas & category
Here you can find the closing rank of NIT Trichy which will clear your doubt.

Hi
Depends. You can check various articles regarding previous year cutoffs for various examinations like jee mains, jee advanced or neet and aiims. But the ranks are notexclusively AIR everywhere. Nut a mixture of both Category ranks and AIR.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.
It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.
So the campus is having very beautiful greenery all around which makes the best nit of india look great. The hostels are although developed but their can be some improvements to make it advanced. I like the mess food.
