Hello,

You can pursue B.tech through distance mode because the distance B.Tech degree will not add any value to your career as these degree will not help you to get Governments jobs nor it will gibe you amy push in private sector. The best in distance learning is IGNOU but the the say that it is a regular degree course and students who are practising another course or doing in a job cant pursue it.
So, my suggestions to you would be to peruse a B.tech from recognized university through lateral entry.

Good Luck

Hello paresh

You can give gate exams after your graduation, or in 4th year of your engineering. There's no college rule, gate examination is independent from any college, you can check out on careers360 website when gate forms are available.you can also ask your doubts in comments if you need more information about gate.

I hope it helps

Hello dear student,

Greetings!

You haven't mentioned the name of the college about which you are asking whether it's  affiliated to rgpv or not. Without knowing the name of the college,  I can't help you , so lemme know the name of the college so that I can help you.

Thankyou

Good luck

Hello Mugdha,

Below I have provided the imporatnt details about both the colleges -

University Institute of Technology Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya :

  • The University Institute of Technology is a department of Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and was eshtablished in 1986. The college is public/government owned and has a campus of 241 acres with 55 faculty people.
  • The college offers courses like B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc .
  • The college has the facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, library, sports, wifi, alumni association, transport facilities etc.
  • As far as the placements are considered, a B.E./B.Tech student gets a average package of 3.30 Lakhs and a M.E./M.Tech student gets a average package of 3.50 Lakhs.

Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management :

  • Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management (formerly known as Northern India Engineering College) is a private college and was eshtablished in the year 2003. The campus is about 9 acres with 238 faculty people.
  • The college is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi  and has been also accredited 'B' grade by NAAC.
  • The college offers courses like B.E./B.Tech, BBA, MBA.
  • The college has the facilities like library, sports, cafeteria, medical/hospital, alumni association, wifi etc.
  • Talking about the placements, B.E./B.Tech students gets a highest package of 9 Lakhs and average package of 4 Lakhs.

Now according to me, Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management is better compared to University Institute of Technology Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (formerly known as Northern India Engineering College). The fomer has better recognition and better placements. Since you currently live in Delhi, so it will be economical and also easy for you to go to college. But if you want to study outside delhi then you can go for UIT RGPV, Bhopal.

You can also go through the below mentioned links and checkout the details regarding both the colleges -

Good Luck !!!

Hello Mugdha,

University Institute of Technology is a well established college with well-experienced faculty and have labs equipped with modern tools and gadgets.

Yes, they have ample number of caretakers in the hostel that maintains the hygiene in the washrooms by cleaning it daily.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!

Mostly NO. There aren't shops in the campuses of colleges for groceries. There might be shops near to college or just outside the college but I guess the hostelites are provided with the food from mess so no vendor will also think that he will gain profit by keeping his shop outside college hostel.

Thank-you.

Hey Mugdha! UIT RGPV is a government university so it is average on all others aspects leaving faculty and academics. University Institute of Technology Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya or UIT RGPV is an Autonomous Institute located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
