Hello aspirant,

If you have done your first year from the private college which was affiliated to RGPV then only you can change your college as according to rules you can change a college within the university only also a student of private college can only go to other private college and cannot go to any government college irrespective of the marks but  a government college student can opt for private college. So you can go to some other private college under RGPV but cannot apply for RGPV Bhopal.

Hello Shikha,

If you want to get admission in lateral entry in BE then you have to apply for the same through the MPDTE councilling . There when you will select the option for apply for councilling then it will give you a option for lateral entry select that and read all the instructions carefully and then apply for the same.

RGPV Bhopal and SGSITS both are the top institute of MP. Infact SGSITS Indore has a very high cutoff that a candidate getting a rank below 1 lakh also cannot get sgsits even he/she is in any reserved category also. And same RGPV Bhopal has also comparative high cutoff so according to me there is no chance of you getting admission in any of the college. So you should try for some private college only.

Congratulations for your 12 th results but with your JEE results you will not be able to get any government college and not RGPV also infact with the rank above it will be hard for you to get any good private colleges also. You have to also comprise with the branch as it will be difficult for you to get a good branch. So you should not even try for a government college instead search for a good private college where you can get admission easily.

Sorry to say but your chances to get uit- rgpv bhopal at 77 percentile in jee mains if you are a general category student but if you have sc or st reservation then your chances become quite high for getting a seat there . If you tell your rank then I may provide you more accurate answer.

The chances of securing a seat in the required college is very low due to the facts that the cutoff from previous years is high, depends on the difficulty of the paper, and the removal of boards % as one of the criteria. Hope you maintain pateinece for the official call and have a back up plan.

if we see the reviews on the internet it says the barktullah will be better,but nothing will better or worst its on you how to learn,

you can go on a visit to the campus at both the places and you can interact with the students over there for more clarification about the education and facileties,

i suggest you should visit college campus personally.
