There are two way to get admission in RGPV college one is from entrance exam like jee main  one another, and second  through class 12th  marks....... to get admission in RGPV  through class 12th marks a candidate must score more than 75%  if they are  from general category and 65 above if they belongs to  reserved category.

RGPV Bhopal is the most prestigious technical University of the Madhya Pradesh and many colleges are affiliated to RGPV in MP whether they are private or government so cutoff marks for admission in RGPV Bhopal is little high though there exists a girls quota where you get reservation on some seats so you can apply for it though the chances are very less but still you can try as you may get a lower branch there.

If you have done your first year from the private college which was affiliated to RGPV then only you can change your college as according to rules you can change a college within the university only also a student of private college can only go to other private college and cannot go to any government college irrespective of the marks but  a government college student can opt for private college. So you can go to some other private college under RGPV but cannot apply for RGPV Bhopal.

If you want to get admission in lateral entry in BE then you have to apply for the same through the MPDTE councilling . There when you will select the option for apply for councilling then it will give you a option for lateral entry select that and read all the instructions carefully and then apply for the same.

RGPV Bhopal and SGSITS both are the top institute of MP. Infact SGSITS Indore has a very high cutoff that a candidate getting a rank below 1 lakh also cannot get sgsits even he/she is in any reserved category also. And same RGPV Bhopal has also comparative high cutoff so according to me there is no chance of you getting admission in any of the college. So you should try for some private college only.

Congratulations for your 12 th results but with your JEE results you will not be able to get any government college and not RGPV also infact with the rank above it will be hard for you to get any good private colleges also. You have to also comprise with the branch as it will be difficult for you to get a good branch. So you should not even try for a government college instead search for a good private college where you can get admission easily.
