you have pretty good marks in intermidate and bit good in JEE as well , definately you will get seat in sastra like branches like ECE,EEE and civil

hope this helps

Hello!

Firstly,Congrats on getting awesome imprints…

Better believe it, Do fill the application frame and apply..

In the event that you have a better than average JEE score..Apply from Stream 1 where they consider both JEE and IPE…

On the off chance that you don't have Mains marks, apply from stream 2..u will get seat..but not certain what..It relies upon the All India Rank that you get in the outcomes that will be proclaimed on the day they report comes about…

Directly I am going to finish my second year in SASTRA..When I desired guiding our shorts resembled 985 or 984 for Computer Science… My imprints were 981..I had one mechanical and Civil seats..out of which I have taken Aero as its my advantage!!

Good fortunes!

Hey Niranjan

No,there is no entrance exam in SASTRA University. The admission to B.Tech 2018 at Sastra University will be on the basis of two streams in which stream 1 will be based on JEE Main 2018 score and qualifying exam scores for 70% seats and stream 2 will be based on the qualifying exam for 30% seats. You have to be eligible for both the streams and fill and submit the common application form of Sastra University B.Tech admission 2018 for the same.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. GOOD LUCK!

hii bhavaya

sastra takes the admission with 2 streams i.e

B.Tech admission 2018 in Sastra University will follow the procedure mentioned below:

Stream 1:

JEE Main 2018 and normalized 10+2 scores will be taken together for admission under stream 1

The scores of JEE Main will carry 25% weightage and 10+2 scores will carry 75% weightage.

The combined scores will be used to prepare the rank list and candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of the rank list.

70% of seats will be filled under stream 1.

Stream 2:

Candidates will be considered for admission based on their normalised aggregate 10+2 or any equivalent exam scores.

30% of seats will be filled under stream 2.

personally i sugesst you to try with both the streams

all the best:)

hii Pranshath!!
the Sastra take admission by two streams

while in case of stream 1 it takes on the basis of JEE marks

and on the other hand it takes on +2marks while they take in with above 90+% of students on the both cases you are not eligible.

all the best:)

Dear Yashwant,

After the completion of polytechnic exams, SASTRA will conduct a 1 month course in which people who are interested in studying Btech after diploma/polytechnic join.( But the student should not have any backlogs before final semester in diploma course and with a overallpercentage of 80 or above).

During last days of course there will be a test conducted on the subjects you learned on that course. Seeing your attendance percentage during the course and performance in the test , you will be called for counselling on your stream.

I have seen the people who join in the 1 month course ,definitely got selected in SASTRA. In selection percentage it will be overall99%.
