SASTRA takes in with 2 streams while one is with jee marks and +2 marks as well according to your inputs there quite low chances getting seat while on OBC is high, and i can say if you have good score in +2 then give try your son can

sastra takes seat from 2 stram one is JEE and other +2

there is 50% chances beacause you have a manageble score in +2 and jee as well because the SASTRA is one of the reputed college
