For Btech, your admission is based on JEE Main score and 12th marks are also considered for 70 percent of seats. There is a normalisation process and the weight age of Jee Main Score and normalized 12th aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on resultant combined score.
JEE Main is conducted in 3 languages namely Hindi, English and Gujarati (if the centre is in Gujarat)
The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA rank and admission will be based on SASTRA rank secured.

Look sastra University take 70% of seat through jee mains rank & 30% of your board results. In through jee mains counselling,, the mains marks will carry 25% weightage of your jee mains marks & aslo look for your board results that you should have 75% in your +2.. If you match those criteria,, then you should go for counseling...
There is no fee waiver seats in Sastra University as they only provide scholarships to those students who are there in top 3% in the university (two fifth fee of the semester fee will be provided), if you are there in top 3% to 10% of university then one-fifth fee of sem will be offered.
You can also get Hostel scholarship if you have not given any mess fine, no roll call absence and your attendence is not below 90%. So if you fulfill these criterias along wth you have good CGPA then you will get the scholarship of 16K.

As it provides admission on the basis of Jee and 12th marks so as per your Jee score chances should be above average to get seat there in lower branches but if you want to go on the basis of 12t merit then admission possibilities are less as it required more than 985.

Scholarships are offered for the students who score above 7.5 SGPA and has 90% and above attendance in all the subjects. Their mess bill for the entire semester is returned. If students score class top mark in any subject then they are provided with Higginbotham bookstore coupons Loan facility is also available from all banks.

Both are the good colleges & have same rating as per the analizing report of Careers 360 in term of Placement, Faculty & industry exposure. Only difference is in Fees structure which Manipal has more.
The comapanies visit to Manipal campus for recruitment like ABB, Accenture, Addverb Tech, Aerx Labs, AKS Software, Allgo Embedded, Altair Engg, Amadeus Labs, Amazon, ARM, Atimi Software, ATOS, Aurobindo Pharma, Beckman Coulter, Bharat Electronics, BIS Research, Black Rock, BluBirch, Bosch, CD Controls etc.
The comapanies visit to Sastra campus like Accenture, Aricent, Ascendant, IBM, TVS Group, TCS, Vedanta, Wipro etc.
The average placement of Manipal is approximately 5 to 6 Lakh Per annum & for Sastra University is approximately 6 Lakh per annum.

College Infrastructure
I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university

College Infrastructure
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
it is good feel to write review for helping juniors

College Infrastructure
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
