Shastra university does not release its official cut off list for its admiasion. It releases a rank list which is prepared on the baisi of JEE Main scores+normalized score of class 12th marks. 

70% seats are offered on the bais of this calculation while 30% seats are offeredon

Admissions in Sastra University are conducted in two streams

1) Stream 1 (Based on JEE Main +2 marks) for 70% of seats.

2) Stream 2 (Based on +2 marks) for 30% of seats.

You can apply for the college through any one stream.

I don't gave any friends studying at SASTRA, so I had to Google search "placements at SASTRA university". 

This is what I got, which I hope will provide some useful information

Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy, known as SASTRA University, is a deemed university which offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in various streams such as Engineering, Science, Education, Management and Arts.

Eligible candidates can register themselves through the online application process by submitting completed forms,

SASTRA Deemed to be University will conduct an Online Practice Test across the state of Tamil Nadu for preparing candidates for entrance examinations like JEE Main and NEET. The Online Practice Test will be held on January 20, February 17 and April 22, 2018 for over 10,000 class 12th students

Sastra University takes admission in two ways-

1) Stream 1 (Based on JEE Main score+2 marks) for 70% seats.

2) Stream 2 (Based on +2 marks) for 30%

In order to be eligible you should have minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM in your 12th class.

You can check the fee structure of the college below

Tuition fees- Rs 55,000 per semester

Development fees- Rs 10,000 (one-time payment)

Sports and unit test fees- Rs 1,000 per annum

Special fees, Registration fees, Medical Exam fees, etc- Rs 6000 (one-time payment)
