There is no exact number for how many people applies for SASTRA through stream 1. Even the administration doesn’t mention about it publicly.

There is nothing like a good branch or something,if u are interested in a particular field then go for it.because if someone feels a branch as a good one but for the other it may not be so,

As far as Information and communication technology is concerned the  placements are well coordinated and most students are placed well. About  95 % students are placed. Students rae allowed to do internships in selected companies. You will get the chance to do summer internships on behalf of Sastra.

For 974 marks there is less chance to get cse seat obviously we can say no chance but if no one is applied for that you can get so apply 1st then attend for the counciling if you are lucky you can get but when I applied to

In 2019 around 97% got placed in SASTRA university and 29lakh pa is the highest package offered by CISCO and Sutherland is the company which offered the lowest package of 1.8 lakh pa. In the field of CS engineering.
