do i have chance of getting b.tech biotechnology seat in sastra university with tn rank 1373 in round 3 since i have not been alloted in round 2. the closing cutoff rank in round 2 is 1125 we are from tn

Hello student. Biotechnology branch is a developing branch in sastra university. Since the closing cut off rank for round 2 councelling and your rank are a bit closer you can expect a seat in 3rd round of councelling, but biotechnology branch availability might be lesser in the university. But again, there is an option of sliding given for 1st year students. You can take any branch for now and If you can score well in your 1st year after getting admitted, there is higher probability that you can slide to bio tech.
