Course Overview

The Epidemics II training is three weeks of online instruction. This course was created and delivered by Hong Kong universities via the EDX platform. The top experts in the field explained this course.

This free online course will teach you about epidemic science, prevention, and control. This course will include a supplementary module on COVID-19, panel discussions with world-renowned epidemic experts, and lectures by HKU's leading scientists in this field. This is the second of four courses on infectious disease spread. It covers the following topics: Communicable Disease Fundamentals Epidemiology, The Epidemiologic Triangle: Pathogen, Host, and Environment Evidence Integration, and Modeling of Infectious Diseases.

The participants can join the self-paced course by paying a fee or free of cost. In the verified mode, they need to submit the course fee and get an unlimited duration during which they can learn the course. In the free track, the students can audit it for a limited duration.
