UTU Dehradun Admission Process

The UTU Dehradun offers admissions to the PG programmes. Uttarakhand Technical University admissions are offered to M.Tech and M.Pharma. UTU Dehradun Admission to the M.Tech. programme is based on UKSEE entrance merit or GATE-qualified merit. Uttarakhand Technical University admission to M.Pharma is done based on GPAT qualified merit or UKSEE entrance merit. M.Tech	24	Candidates must have passed a B.Tech degree or equivalent in the relevant field as AICTE norms. General/OBC candidates, obtained at least 60% marks in B.Tech or equivalent and for SC/ST candidates 55% marks in B.Tech or equivalent. + Valid GATE scores.




M.Pharma	24	Candidates must have passed B.Pharma with an aggregate of 55% marks (50% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination. + GPAT scores.

Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun M.Pharma Admission Process 2024

For M.Pharma admission candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GPAT.
Candidates have to visit the official website of the university and register themselves.
Then they have to fill up the application form with all the required details.
Candidates need to submit the application form and pay the application form fee online.
At the time of M.Pharma counselling, the first seats will be filled by the valid score GPAT candidates and if GPAT score candidates are not available then the remaining seats will be filled based on the merit of the entrance exam- UKSEE.
Uttarakhand Technical University admission is offered after verification of all required documents and payment of the fee.

UTU Dehradun M.Tech Admission Process 2024

Students have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE and also based merits of the qualifying examination for the M.Tech admission at Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
Candidates can fill out the application form by directly visiting the official website of the UTU Dehradun.
During M.Tech counselling, the first few seats will be filled by the qualified GATE candidates and if candidates with valid GATE scores are not available then the rest seats will be filled according to the merit of the entrance examination- UKSEE.
At last, candidates have to pay the admission fee.

Academics

Few teachers are not cooperative at all to be very honest. They are only worried about student's attendance rather than studies. Come, Sit, and attend the class, that's all. That's all what they care about. It more feels like a school than college.

Academics

The academic part is where there is a need of updation. The quality of teaching is okay but at last, the student needs to work for his/ her studies personally. The syllabus needs to have recent developments, applications and practical knowledge but that needs to be at the university level because it is an affiliated college.

i got 92% percent in 12th boards and 76.4 percentile in jee mains because of NTA's negligence.(I had also sent an email to NTA but nothing worked.) can I get btech CS in Uttrakhand technical University? (I am a resident of Uttarakhand and from general category).

To be honest it's difficult to predict about a person if she will be getting a particular branch or not because Uttarakhand Technical University doesn't releases any official data about its cut off.

Although some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

Yes, you can get admission to GB pant nagar University as your marks are enough for non core branches in this college. However some things depends on certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Non core branches such as electrical and electronics, electrical and communication, computer science branch. If you have some category reservation it would be much easier for you to grab a seat in this college.
