UTU Dehradun Admission Process
UTU admissions are entrance-based. Uttarakhand Technical University offers admissions to the PG programmes. Uttarakhand Technical University admissions are offered to M.Tech and M.Pharma. UTU Dehradun admission to the M.Tech programme is based on UKSEE entrance merit or GATE-qualified merit.

Uttarakhand Technical University M.Pharma Admission Process 2026
For M.Pharma admission, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GPAT.
Candidates have to visit the official website of the university and register themselves.
Then they have to fill up the application form with all the required details.
Candidates need to submit the application form and pay the application form fee online.
At the time of M.Pharma counselling, the first seats will be filled by the valid score GPAT candidates and if GPAT score candidates are not available then the remaining seats will be filled based on the merit of the entrance exam- UKSEE.
Uttarakhand Technical University admission is offered after verification of all required documents and payment of the UTU admission fees.

Uttarakhand Technical University M.Tech Admission Process 2026
Students have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE, and also based merits of the qualifying examination for the M.Tech admission at Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun.

Yes, the college has all the necessary things required for a good study n learning environment. Wifi, smart boards, and surveillance cameras are installed wherever needed. Canteen food is hygienic and tasty.

Placement drives are much satisfactory as majority of students gets placed. Highest package goes upto 8-9 lakhs per annum. The average salary package concludes between 4-5 lakhs per annum. Also the placement cell helps students a lot during job selections.

Few teachers are not cooperative at all to be very honest. They are only worried about student's attendance rather than studies. Come, Sit, and attend the class, that's all. That's all what they care about. It more feels like a school than college.

Infrastructure is good equipped with spacious classrooms, Wifi(which never worked), Smart boards(used once or twice in a year). So everything we used is well-maintained as already mentioned their usage above. There is a facility of a furnished canteen as well for students.
Campus Life
There's no campus life so far
Placements
As it is a government college, chances are less for the on-campus placement. Few companies approaches but with very lesser packages. Although some students take good off-campus placements and make their ways which is commendable.
Value For Money
Those who want to complete their Btech in less budget, can rely on this.
