The university offers admissions to the PG programmes. Uttarakhand Technical University admissions are offered to M.Tech and M.Pharma. Admission to the M.Tech. programme is based on UKSEE entrance merit or GATE qualified merit. Uttarakhand Technical University admission to M.Pharma is done based on GPAT qualified merit or UKSEE entrance merit. Final admission is offered after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun Admission- PG Courses

For admission to M.Tech at Uttarakhand Technical University, the general/OBC candidates must have at least 60% marks in the B.Tech or equivalent and for SC/ST candidates 55% marks in the B.Tech or equivalent. The candidates who are having valid qualified GATE scores will be given preference in admission. Meanwhile, candidates with valid and qualified GATE scores are not required to appear in the entrance examination- UKSEE. 

Uttarakhand Technical University admission to M.Pharma is done based on the score obtained in the entrance examination- UKSEE or preference given to the GPAT qualified merit. Meanwhile, the general/OBC candidates with 55% of marks and a valid qualified GPAT score will be given preference in admission. Whereas candidates belonging to the SC/ST category with 50% of marks and a valid GPAT score will also be given preference in admission.

• Students have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE for the M.Tech admission at  Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

• For M.Pharma admission candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GPAT.

• Candidates have to visit the official website of the university and register themselves.

• Then they have to fill up the application form with all the required details.

• Candidates need to submit the application form and pay the application form fee online.

• During M.Tech counselling, the first few seats will be filled by the qualified GATE candidates and if candidates with valid GATE scores are not available then the rest seats will be filled according to the merit of the entrance examination- UKSEE. 

• At the time of M.Pharma counselling, the first seats will be filled by the valid score GPAT candidates and if GPAT score candidates are not available then the remaining seats will be filled based on the merit of the entrance exam- UKSEE.

• Uttarakhand Technical University admission is offered after verification of all required documents and payment of the fee.
