Infrastructure is good equipped with spacious classrooms, Wifi(which never worked), Smart boards(used once or twice in a year). So everything we used is well-maintained as already mentioned their usage above. There is a facility of a furnished canteen as well for students.

Few teachers are not cooperative at all to be very honest. They are only worried about student's attendance rather than studies. Come, Sit, and attend the class, that's all. That's all what they care about. It more feels like a school than college.

As it is a government college, chances are less for the on-campus placement. Few companies approaches but with very lesser packages. Although some students take good off-campus placements and make their ways which is commendable.

Those who want to complete their Btech in less budget, can rely on this.

There's no campus life so far

College does have necessary infrastructure and facilities but needs proper maintenance. The equipments are bit old but functional. The college does have smart boards and WiFi but are not configured well throughout the campus. The hostels are clean and hygienic upto a level.

The academic part is where there is a need of updation. The quality of teaching is okay but at last, the student needs to work for his/ her studies personally. The syllabus needs to have recent developments, applications and practical knowledge but that needs to be at the university level because it is an affiliated college.

Placements are average in a nutshell. For a CSE student, there are maximum chances for getting a good placement package..but for a student belonging to Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Branch, the placement scenario can get quite hard...This is because leading companies need these core branch engineers from top colleges. Almost 70-80% of batch gets placed (including all branches). Highest package was 20 LPA (CSE). Average is about 8 LPA. College is supportive throughout placements.

Uttarakhand Technical University is spread across 8.72 Hectares and has all the facilities like hostel, gym, football and cricket grounds as well as basketball court and tennis court equipped with all the things.

I am pursuing my B-Tech in Computer Science Stream. Here the quality of teaching is very good and the professors here are very friendly and supportive. The curriculum is is updated as per the latest syllabus and includes all recent developments. The quality of study here makes you expert to take up job in your respective fields.

Our college has a pretty good placement record. A student of UTU stands a chance to secure a package of around 4 LPA for Computer Science on average. The highest package offered here is 56 lakhs. The placement process is bit easy and the placement cell of the college is also very supportive.

The Computer Science stream costs around 1.02 lakh per year. And definitely i would say that it's worth the price as the campus life and placement they offer is just amazing.

Campus Life is another USP of this college as we have well built hostel and and the campus is also very large and you will find yourself amused in the greenery of the college. The students and teachers are friendly and supportive and staff members also have very good behaviour. It's located at NH-72 Dehradun,India which is a very quiet place and it can also handle emergencies as the hospitals are located at very close distance of the college and the doctor facility is also available through 24*7
