VIT Vellore provides all the students with high speed internet, so installing your personal router won't be required. Also, the institute won't allow you to install private routers within its premises. So it's better you use the WiFi provided by the institute itself.

Honestly, VIT Vellore has really good infrastructure. The campus is of course massive, well maintained. you pretty much get everything you need inside, from academic blocks to hostels and food courts. It does get very crowded though. reallyyy crowded.
