yes you can get a seat in VIT for your rank 27233. As per the analysis of 2015-2016 in VIT institution you can get a seat in production and industrial engineering.

As per previous years records, students upto 25k rank got seats in IT, EEE and ECE. But trend changes every year, so might be possible that almost seats get filled, but the college open approximately 130 seats for category 2 so there are chances, also you might get seat

Getting CS branch in Vellore campus is really hard as the closing ranks for first phase is near 20000 and then increase in other phases, but generally for Vellore it do not reaches till 50000.
