Hello,

Based on previous years' cutoff , VIT Business School typically requires an NMAT score in the 75-80 percentile range for MBA admissions. An NMAT score of 206 may correspond to a percentile below this range, potentially affecting your chances.

Your current NMAT score is below the typical cutoff, but a strong overall application can still enhance your chances of receiving a call from VIT for the MBA program.

Hope it helps !

Hello Greetings

The VIT cutoff for M.Tech in Mechanical/CAD/CAM varies based on several factors, including the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the difficulty level of the examination.

To give you a better idea, here are some cutoff ranks for M.Tech programs at VIT from previous years:

- *Mechanical Engineering*: 19500 (2016) and 19000 (2015)

- *CAD/CAM*: No specific cutoff ranks available, but the cutoff for Mechanical Engineering can be used as a reference

Keep in mind that these cutoff ranks are subject to change and may not reflect the current year's cutoff. The admission cut off marks for M.Tech programs at VIT are determined by the university and are typically released after the declaration of results .

It's also worth noting that admission to M.Tech programs at VIT is based on the candidate's score in the VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) or GATE. Candidates with a valid GATE score are given preference .

Congratulations on your MAT score! VIT Business School considers MAT scores for admission to its MBA program. Although the cutoff scores may vary from year to year, here's a general idea: VIT Business School typically accepts MAT scores above 400. With your score of 449.50, you have a good chance of getting accepted. However, please note that the final selection also depends on other factors like your academic performance, work experience (if any), and performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. It's best to check with VIT Business School directly for the most up-to-date information on their admission process and cutoff scores.

Have a great day

Hi,

To join campuses of VIT , SRM , and Amrita in Andhra Pradesh, you need to follow their respective admission processes. Here's a quick guide -

For VIT, admission is primarily through the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). So, register for that on it's official website. For select programs, admission may also be based on JEE Main or board exam marks.

For SRM, admission is through SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination). You can register through it's official website. Later on, based on your rank, participate in counseling and select the AP campus.

For Amrita, admission is primarily through AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination). You can register through their official website. Also, some seats are allocated based on JEE Main scores or exceptional performance in board exams.

With a VITEEE rank of 10,798, it is unlikely that you will secure a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) seat under Category 1 at any VIT campus, including VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai. Based on past trends, CSE seats in Category 1 close by around the 8,000-9,000 range at VIT Chennai. However, you may still have a chance in Category 2 or higher categories, where cutoffs extend up to around 14,000 for CSE. It would be best to explore these options during counseling.

With a rank of 27,000 in VITEEE, it may be difficult to secure admission into the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or VLSI Design branches in VIT Chennai under Category 2 or Category 1. Typically, these branches have higher demand and competitive cutoffs. The VITEEE cutoffs for top branches tend to be lower for Category 2, but securing a spot in ECE or VLSI Design with your rank seems challenging. For further details, you can check the official VIT Chennai admission page.

With a rank of 47,444 in VITEEE 2024, securing admission to Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design) at VIT Chennai in categories 3 or 4 might be challenging. Historically, branches like Electronics and Computer Engineering at VIT Chennai have closed around a rank of 42,000, which is slightly higher than your rank. However, trends can vary based on the number of applicants, preferences, and seat availability. You can explore other branches or campuses under category 4, as it has higher fees but lower rank cutoffs.
