Both these two universities are good. But if you want to do campare, then SRM university's campus life is better than ViT, ViT's campus life is too much strict.

But the most important thing is Placement and academics, as per these both the colleges are more or less

These are private college . The chances are less that they will return test fee but you can mail them to do so. if many student request then they will do so , it might be possible that they return the test fee .

If you have scored good in jee mains 1 then you should apply for Vellore Institute of Technology. Also, vit will take admissions on the basis of 10+2 result and the candidates with valid jee mains marks will be given more weightage,as VITEEE has been canceled by the university.

see there is no specific cutoff revealed by vit for integrated course admission. the eligibility criteria for m.tech 5 years integrated course is candidates must complete 12th course from a recognized education board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as a subject, there is no entrance test. now cutoff scores
