Hello aspirant.

Both of the above mentioned B.tech course is good in Vellore Institute of technology. So, you can go with your interest in any of the above mentioned courses.

However, according to my opinion, You must prefer CSE (Computer science and Engineering ) over ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) in VIT vellore, because the CSE branch has more scope as compared to ECE and more job opportunities as well. It has higher salary package as well. So, you can go with CSE branch.

Further, to know more about the CSE in VIT Vellore, all other details, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://www.careers360.com/university/vellore-institute-of-technology-vellore

So, Btech in VIT Vellore is a very good college for engeering students, VIT Vellore provides courses for both UG and PG level courses. Candidates have to apply for admission at VIT official website and fill the application form and candidates have been selected on the basis of VIT Engeering Enterance exam (VITEEE) for admission in Btech and Mtech students. Before applying you need to make sure that your eligibility criteria is match for the VIT admissions and you have to getting ready your verified documents and last stage is Vellore r fees for admission process.

For Btech there are 60-1200 seats are available and Eligibility criteria is you must have obtained 55% marks in Physics, chemistry and Biology/Mathematics in class 12th from a organized board and for ST/SC catagory is 45%.

And if you going for MBBS 1 drop year then you should to make sure that your 12th marks should be 60% for general and OBC/ST/SC catagory is 50% and have to give exam of NEET-UG exam has eligibility criteria is 50% for General and rest is for 45% marks. There are so many private and government colleges of Medicinal and dental colleges in India.
So, take your decision wisely and All the best for your bright future ahead!

This type of placement is called pooled placements, and all the campuses of Vellore Institute of Technology, or VIT is bound by this pooled placements among all the campuses. So, yes, essentially the placements of VIT are completely centralised.

This is also beneficial for the companies as they get a lot more people to pick from and beneficial for the students as they have a wide array of companies to chose from, so it's a win-win situation for everyone.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Hello Aspirant,

As you have got 31340 rank in VITEEE that is a decent rank but with this rank you will not able to get any branch in category 1 in Vellore campus. With 31340 rank  you will not get CSE branch in any category but you have chance to get IT , ECE, EE, Civil in category 4 or category 5. This information is based on previous year's closing rank in VIT Vellore.

Hello

Yes, dear, you are welcome to apply as a lateral candidate at VIT or any other engineering college. But, you forgot to mention your diploma stream. However, for lateral admission to VIT, your diploma college must receive AICTE approval, and your diploma marks must be at least 45 percent. And nothing is directly admitted to have happened. You must pass the VITEEE exam before you may move forward. You must enrol there after all of this.

Thanks

Hello

The integrated master of technology in computer science is a 5-year degree programme, whereas the bachelor of technology in computer science engineering is a 4-year programme. When it comes to the course curriculum, the b. tech course is more extensive than the integrated course curriculum because the b. tech + m. tech course typically takes six years to complete rather than the two years of m. tech course. However, in the integrated programme, these two courses are combined and only focus on core components, so many of the optional subjects available in b. tech may not be covered. However, if you are interested in research and a doctoral programme in the future, the integrated course is the better option.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the academic blocks is as you expect from any college and is really good and perfect with proper and big and spacious classrooms, labs, along with big spaces for sitting and also canteens shops and even the toilets are really good and well maintained other than that the campus is also really beautiful and spacious with many trees facilities along with transport facilities and various sports ammendments although the hostels depend on which type of block and room you pick they are mostly good except for summer times when vellore is really hot ACs in classrooms should've been put although they are present in labs and rooms, the food is also dependent on your block but it's really mostly good only.
