Hello aspirant,
Looking at the previous year VITEEE cutoff for CSE branch in VIT Vellore, You have difficult chances to get CSE branch with around 146K rank in VITEEE. In order to get CSE Branch at VIT Vellore, for general category student, you will need a rank of within 10000 in VITEEE in category 1. And for VIT Chennai, for CSE Branch, you will need a rank of around 12000 in VITEEE in category 1. However, the ranking can be increased by paying more fees in lower category, but still if you increase your category till 5, it will be still difficult to get CSE at 146K rank in VITEEE.

Hello Aspirant,
As per the analysis of previous years cut-off data for VITEEE, you have almost no chances for CSE branch in any of the campuses of VIT but you have some chances in following campuses with mentioned branches :-
Vellore - Civil Engineering
Chennai - Civil Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Fashion Technology
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can check out the link given below for more details :-

Hello aspirant,
Candidates with marks of less than 31 are predicted to receive a ranking of 20,000 or lower. The closing rank of CSE is 7500 for VIT Vellore.
Thank you
Hello,
As you mentioned that you have secured 158 marks in jee mains and looking at your vit rank i would prefer you to join any good nits rather than going to a private college which will cost you around 20L and can be even more than that.
If your rank was under 10k then you would have thought of taking cse branch but your rank is high so i would recommend you to join nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut, patna,Surat ,Bhopal.
If you want to check the colleges you want to get you can check out the link given below -

Hello,
VIT has released the results . Candidates can check their score card by logging into their account with valid credentials. If you have decided that you want to join vit bhopal only then let me tell you that it's quite possible that you will get cse branch in this rank . But if you do not have any financial burden then you can also opt for category 4 or 5 in VIT Vellore for cse specialisation branches.
However the filling of the seats are on the basis of ranks acquired and amount of students who have attended the counselling before you. The slot booking has also started so you can book your slot.
VIT is one of the best private engineering universities in India. Now if you wish to go for the course of Integrated MTech program, then its a great choice for you. The course has a good curriculum and have a industry relevant skill enhancement curriculum. So getting a job can become a cake walk for you if you learn the skills well. As the degree is UGC recognized, you can apply for the Government jobs as well. So yeah! If you wish to go for it, just go for it, the course worth it.
The main thing which you may feel is the package because the packages offered to the Integrated MTech graduates are same as that of the BTech holders. Apart from this, the course is great and if you want to specialize in a field, then VIT gives you this amazing opportunity.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
Hi aspirant,
Frankly speaking there is no chance of you getting computer science and engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology in either of Vellore or Chennai campuses. However you can definitely get a seat at Bhopal and Amravati campuses which are newly built and less preferred by the candidates. Even the people who get rank 1 lakh or above are eligible for admission at these two campuses and therefore it makes a fair chance for you to get a seat for CSE. However you would not get the seat in first or second category but you should make sure to fill the priorities in well manner with good branches and lower categories first.
Hope it helps!!
VIT Vellore has the most amazing infrastructure! The campus is huge and super clean. Classrooms are modern, labs are well equipped, and there are so many cool spots to hang out. It feels great to study here !
The infrastructure of the academic blocks is as you expect from any college and is really good and perfect with proper and big and spacious classrooms, labs, along with big spaces for sitting and also canteens shops and even the toilets are really good and well maintained other than that the campus is also really beautiful and spacious with many trees facilities along with transport facilities and various sports ammendments although the hostels depend on which type of block and room you pick they are mostly good except for summer times when vellore is really hot ACs in classrooms should've been put although they are present in labs and rooms, the food is also dependent on your block but it's really mostly good only.
Overall insfrastructure is average. academic building are well maintained but hostels are very congested. Once u get any any room its very hard to change(they will act like SBI employees to u when u fill application for room changing).
