There's nothing like clearing VITEEE. VIT doesn't disclose marks in VITEEE results, All they give is your rank based on your score.

All the students whose rank is under one lakh are shown as qualified and are eligible for counseling. All the rank holders under 20k are called in phase 1 and the rest in phase 2.

You need to score 80+ to get a rank under 20k. This is just a rough assumption from my personal experience. VITEEE is held in multiple slots(3 slots per day) over some time, so they use an equating methodology to normalize your score based on the paper difficulty of the particular slot. For biotechnology, the rank should be under 13500.

Looking at the previous years Cutoff for VITEEE for Biotechnology admission, you will need marks of around 50-70 in VITEEE to get Biotechnology in VIT. That is equivalent of scoring a rank of within 15000 in VITEEE.

According to the rank that you have scored it is quite difficult to get admission in VIT Vellore in CSE branch but may be you can secure your seat in CSE branch in VIT Amaravati. as rankers below 35k can get admission in that branch in that college.

All admission exams will take into account both results, but the cutoff for intermediate marks will differ from board to board. A cumulative score from your groups is taken into account for EAMCET.

Your EAMCET score, which must be out of 160, will receive a weighting of 75%, and your intermediate group score, which must be out of 600, will receive a weighting of 25%.

Hope you are doing great ! There is not much difference in both the engineering colleges as both are equally good and best in its own way. However, VIT is an autonomous Institute affiliated to University of Pune on the other hand MIT has better ranking in NIRF engineering ranking .

MIT's population is lower than that of VIT in CSE branch, so there is less competition, hence quality wise MIT will be better . In VIT, only 5% CSE students get what they want (company and package wise).
