Vellore institute of technology is the leading private Engineering college listed at top on NIRF engineering rankings. The University has four campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati out of which Vellore or main campus is best. Being established in 1984 it is the oldest franchise of the university and have the best faculties as well as other parameters that may be helpful for students to grow. There are well maintained labs, regular technical events, hackathons that will help you and practical learning of the subjects. The average package for Computer Science and Engineering at the campus is around 7 lacs with placement percentage around 85 to 90. Talking about Chennai campus it is equally good at acadamics but it will lag behind in infrastructure, facilities and you would have to travel Vellore for the final placements as there is combined placements for Vellore and Chennai campus students.

To take admission in vit you need to give the entrance examination that is viteee . If you are taking vit then be ready to pay the fees because in the private colleges you have to pay in vit atleast 13-14L if you have applied through category 1. But there is a provision that if you score below 1k rank then you have chances of the tuition fee waiver scheme. You will get the information in the official website.

As of now only applications are being accepted by VIT Vellore for VITEEE 2022 and they have not announced any exact dates for VITEEE 2022 but will release soon and tentatively it is supposed to be conducted in the last week of April 2022..

See VITEEE is generally conducted in Computer Based Test or in short CBT mode but last year they conducted it through remote proctored mode because of COVID pandemic but for this year till now there is no notification for conduction of an examination through any such mode, and as per the latest information this time VITEEE will be conducted in CBT mode at different examination centers in the last week of April 2022 (tentatively).

Vellore institute of technology is the top ranked private Engineering college of India with the ranking of 12 as per the latest rankings of MHRD. The University has four different campuses that are in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. The academics here are pretty good with a dynamic feature called FFCS where candidates get an option to select their faculty, subjects as well as time slots for their classes. The infrastructure is very good with well maintained labs also the college organises regular events and hackathons for the overall development of students. There are more than hundred clubs and chapters registered at VIT which give you an amazing atmosphere. The placement is also quite good at VIT specially for Vellore and Chennai campuses with average package around 6.5 to 7 lacs.

There is no fixed fee structure for the courses but it depends upon the performance of candidate in VITEEE. There are five categories and the fee structures for them are respectively 2,3, 4, 4.5 and 5 lacs respectively. The category you will fall into depends upon the the course you select for and your rank.

The highest package that were offered to a computer science and engineering student at Vellore institute of technology was around 75 lacs last year. In previous session highest package offered was 42 lakhs. Also more than 81 students were offered a package of 25 lacs or more. More than 1,000 students got their superdream offers with packages of 10 lakh or more. In addition to this around same number of students got dream offers between 6 to 10 lakh rupees and got placed in IT and core companies. There is no option of getting direct admission in VIT. You can not take admission in VIT University if you have not appeared in VITEEE.

it's mandatory for a student to apper in VITEEE. The score you get in the entrance will help you to grab your seat in the university.

Vit Vellore has not disclosed the cut offs yet but if I were to go by the previous years trends then let me tell you that these things depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

As per my view the cut off might range from 10k to 30k depending upon the above factors.

Change of Branch, all depends on the college authority.

The procedure of shifting the department mainly pivots on the number of vacancies accessible in the department you're intending to and the scores you got in the initial year of your course.

Another characteristic is the Authority of your University.

If they find no problem with it, you may earn the department you aimed for shifted effortlessly.

This process will be better if you want to alter branches within your college. Altering branches outside your college will require authorizations from both colleges.
