Aishwarya Institute of Nursing Sciences, Maddur, is an institution dedicated to nursing education. Situated on Bangalore-Mysore Road, the college is affiliated and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). It offers two full-time nursing courses, that is, a 4-year B.Sc Nursing course and a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. The institute's vision is to provide sound theoretical knowledge and practice for a successful career in nursing.
The procedure for admitting students is set up to select students who are capable and committed. The admission cycle usually starts roughly in the months of August-September, but the dates may vary. Students planning to apply should have the application materials ready by May to June.
To apply to the B.Sc. Nursing Program, a candidate should have completed a 10+2 in science subjects, including Biology. GNM also requires a 10+2 qualification but gives preference to students who are from a science background. Ranks in board examinations and those in mandatory entrance tests combine to form the basis of the admission path.
