Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, Bidar, is one of the most reputed institutions that provide teaching in Ayurvedic medicine. The college offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program, which is a complete six-year course intended to give students wide theoretical and practical knowledge of Ayurveda. For admission to this deemed institution, the selection is based primarily on the score obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET.

Application Process

The whole admission process of Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, Bidar is mainly about the NEET exam and the counseling thereafter; the steps are as follows:

1. NEET Registration: To register for NEET, candidates should visit the official NEET registration website, fill the application form, upload documents, and submit the application fee.

6. Seat Allotment: After your NEET rank and counseling, the seat will be alloted in Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre.

8. Report to The College: After the allotment of seat and payment of fees, candidates are expected to report at the college on the prescribed date with all original documents for final admission formalities.

BAMS: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an academic degree that is the premier program offered at Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre Bidar. This six-year full-time program offers an extensive theoretical and clinical education to the students in Ayurvedic medicine. Total 30 seats are sanctioned for this program. Admission to the BAMS course is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET examination.
