      College Infrastructure

Andhra University has a well-developed and student-friendly infrastructure that supports both academics and overall campus life. The university campus is very large and green, creating a peaceful environment for studying. It has spacious classrooms with good ventilation and basic digital facilities. Many departments are equipped with laboratories that help students gain practical knowledge, especially for science and engineering courses.

      Academics

Andhra University offers a solid academic environment with a good balance of theory and practical learning. The university provides a wide range of courses in fields like engineering, science, arts, commerce, and management. The syllabus is generally structured to give students strong fundamental knowledge in their subjects. Most professors are experienced and supportive, and they guide students not only in academics but also in career-related matters.

      Placements

Andhra University has decent placement opportunities, especially for students in technical and management fields. The university has a dedicated placement cell that organizes training programs, internships, and campus recruitment drives. They also conduct aptitude training, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students for jobs. Because of this support, many students are able to get placed every year.

      Value for Money

Andhra University is generally considered good value for money, especially when you compare it with private colleges. The biggest advantage is the low fee structure even hostel expenses are quite affordable. Students typically spend around ₹2,300–₹3,500 per month including food, which is very reasonable for a university campus. So overall, the cost of studying and living is manageable for most students

      Campus Life

The campus atmosphere is very calm and green, which makes it a pleasant place to spend your college years. Students from different backgrounds and states come here, so you get to meet a variety of people and build good friendships. There are many cultural events, fests, and student activities conducted throughout the year. These include technical fests, cultural programs, and celebrations where students can showcase their talents in dance, music, and other activities

      Others

At Andhra University, my overall experience has been quite good and memorable. The campus environment is very peaceful and full of greenery, which makes it a nice place to study and relax

Is This College Worth It? My Review

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

As a 3rd-year CSE student, I’ve experienced both the strengths and limitations of the infrastructure at Andhra University College of Engineering. The campus has a classic feel with spacious classrooms and a peaceful environment for studying. Computer labs are functional and sufficient for academic work, though some systems and software need updating to match current industry requirements. The central library is very useful for studying/preparing for exam. Wi-Fi is available but can be unreliable at times. Hostel facilities are manageable, but maintenance and cleanliness can be improved.

      Academics

The CSE curriculum covers all the essential subjects like data structures, operating systems, DBMS, and computer networks. Some professors are very experienced and explain concepts clearly, while others rely more on traditional teaching methods. The focus is more on theory, so students interested in coding and development need to put in extra effort outside the classroom. There are opportunities for mini-projects and seminars, but self-learning plays a major role in skill development.

      Placements

Placements for CSE are comparatively better than most other branches. Companies offering roles in software development, testing, and analytics visit the campus. The placement cell conducts training sessions, aptitude classes, and mock interviews, which are helpful. However, competition is high, so we need to be consistent with coding practice and technical preparation.

      Value for Money

The value for money is average as the academic fees is bit high for management quota - 2lk/sem compared to the facilities provided

      Campus Life

Campus life is good, with a mix of academics and extracurricular activities. There are technical and cultural events, along with student clubs, though participation depends on individual interest.

      Others

Overall, as a CSE 3rd-year student, I feel the college provides a strong academic base and decent placement opportunities. However, to truly benefit, students need to take initiative, focus on practical skills, and stay updated with industry trends. It’s a good choice for those who are self-motivated and ready to put in consistent effort.

      Good university degree and placements

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good for basic design and study, but it feels old. It is useful for learning, but the department needs more modern facilities and better maintenance.Compared to private architecture colleges, the infrastructure feels less advanced and less professional

      Academics

Exams are strict and include written papers and design juries. Academics are good for basics, but practical exposure and modern skills are limited. Students must work extra on software and portfolios.

      Placements

Some students get job offers or internships through campus recruitment, especially in architectural firms and construction companies. A few students also find good opportunities in design studios and urban planning firms.Even if direct placements are limited, the Andhra University name is helpful when students apply for jobs outside campus.

      Value for Money

The fees for architecture at Andhra University are lower than many private design schools, so it is more affordable. You get a recognized university degree, which helps for higher studies.Because the fees are low, facilities like modern labs and software rooms are limited. Students often need to spend extra money on software courses, workshops, and portfolio tools

      Campus Life

Campus life is peaceful and friendly, but not very exciting. You can focus on studies, make friends, and work creatively, but you may have to create your own fun and activities.the university campus is big, green, and peaceful.

The Andhra University name helps in off-campus placements and higher studies. A few students also get opportunities through internships and referrals.

      Value for Money

Admission into AU is mainly through AP EAMCET and sometimes through Andhra University entrance quota counseling. Because it is a government university, the fees are much lower compared to private engineering colleges. The Andhra University certificate has good value for higher studies and government jobs.
