      Good valued university

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good for basic design and study, but it feels old. It is useful for learning, but the department needs more modern facilities and better maintenance.Compared to private architecture colleges, the infrastructure feels less advanced and less professional

      Academics

The syllabus covers important subjects like architectural design, drawing, building construction, and theory of structures. Teachers focus a lot on basics like hand drawing, planning, and design concepts. Some professors are experienced and guide students in projects and higher studies. The university degree is well recognized, so it is useful for future education and government jobs.

      Placements

Some students get job offers or internships through campus recruitment, especially in architectural firms and construction companies. A few students also find good opportunities in design studios and urban planning firms.the Andhra University name is helpful when students apply for jobs outside campus.

      Value for Money

You get a recognized university degree, which helps for higher studies, government jobs, and professional registrations.Because the fees are low, facilities like modern labs and software rooms are limited. Students often need to spend extra money on software courses, workshops, and portfolio tools to become industry-ready.

      Campus Life

campus is big, green, and peaceful. There are a few cultural events, exhibitions, and workshops where students can show their design work.Campus life is not very lively or exciting compared to private schools or big universities with lots of fests and events. Architecture work can be stressful and time-consuming, so many students spend most of their time in studios or on assignments

The degree has good value for future education

      College Infrastructure

The campus is large and green, so the environment feels peaceful for learning. The central library of the university is very big and useful. Many classrooms and labs look old and need renovation. Some computers in the labs are outdated and slow. Smart classrooms are not available in every room.Maintenance is not regular, so fans, lights, or systems may not work properly at times. Compared to modern private colleges, the infrastructure feels less advanced.

      Academics

The syllabus covers all important computer subjects like programming, data structures, databases, operating systems, and networks. Some professors are experienced and guide students in projects and higher studies. The university name is well known, so the degree has good value for future education and government jobs.

      Placements

Some software and IT companies come for campus placements every year. Students who are good in coding, communication, and projects can get placed in decent jobs. The Andhra University name helps in off-campus placements and higher studies. A few students also get opportunities through internships and referrals.

      Value for Money

Admission into AU is mainly through AP EAMCET and sometimes through Andhra University entrance quota counseling. Because it is a government university, the fees are much lower compared to private engineering colleges. The Andhra University certificate has good value for higher studies and government jobs. If a student studies seriously and improves coding skills on their own, the education feels worth the money.

      Campus Life

Campus life is calm and friendly. The university campus is very big and green, so it feels nice to walk around and relax between classes. students can use the central library, sports grounds, and hostels. It is not very exciting compared to private or top engineering colleges. Cultural fests and fun activities are limited

      Good recognized university.

      College Infrastructure

the department has many well-established labs like Basic & Advanced Electronics, Digital Electronics, Analog Communications, Microprocessor, VHDL & Simulation, Fiber Optics, and Microwave labs for practical learning. But as it is an older campus, so some buildings and labs may look a bit old or need renovation. Because the campus is large and spread out, students sometimes have to walk a lot between classes and labs

      Placements

The good part is that many students get job offers from companies, especially in software, electronics, and communication fields. Some students also get internships and training opportunities.some students have to apply for jobs outside the college by using job portals or personal contacts.

      Value for Money

The college has experienced teachers, useful subjects, well-equipped labs, and a big library. Students get a strong foundation in electronics and communication. And the value of this college is also recognized

      Campus Life

      Placements

Many IT and software companies come to the campus every year, and some students get placed in roles like software developer and analyst.students get placed through campus drives, and high packages are only for a few top students. Competition is very high because many students apply for the same jobs. Some companies offer average salaries also.

      Very good college

      College Infrastructure

Classrooms are spacious and labs are available for all major engineering subjects. some buildings and laboratories are old and need renovation. A few classrooms and equipment feel outdated. Maintenance is not the same everywhere, and some areas need better cleanliness and repair work. Overall, the infrastructure is strong and supportive for studies, but it needs modernization in some parts to match newer engineering colleges.

      Academics

Teachers are experienced and explain subjects clearly, especially core engineering topics. The syllabus is well planned and helps students build good basic knowledge but some subjects are taught more in a traditional way and need more practicals learning. Most of the time students need to study on their own for exams without any materials provided.

      Placements

not all students get placed, and high salary packages are limited to only a few top performers. Competition is high because many students apply for the same jobs. Some companies offer average packages, so students need to work on coding skills, projects, and internships on their own to get better opportunities

      Value for Money

The pros are that students get good infrastructure, experienced teachers, and placement support without paying very high fees. The cons are that some labs and buildings are old, and placements for top packages are limited to only a few students. Also, students often need to invest in extra skill courses or coding practice to get better job opportunities. Overall, it is good value for money for learning and basic career support, but students must put in extra effort for top results.

      Campus Life

The campus is big, green, and clean, which makes it a good place for studying. Students can take part in sports, cultural events, and technical activities, and there are hostels, canteen, and common areas to relax and spend time with friends. The environment is calm and supportive for learning.

AU is a good choice who prefer independent learning.

      College Infrastructure

AU has well-equipped infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular needs. The campus is decent with accessible libraries (with wifi) with a wide range of study materials. For those interested in fitness can also use, not very modern, gymnasiums.

      Academics

Academically, AU is a good option for students who are into self-study but value professional guidance. The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable offering support without being overly restrictive. you will also enjoy the various clubs.

      Placements

The placement cell organises recruitment drives but the placement opportunities definitely depends on the individual skill and effort. The uni hosts several workshops and talks by industry professionals too.

Have a question related to AUCE Visakhapatnam ?

      Hello Dear Student,
For a Chemical Engineering career, AUCE Vizag is generally considered the better option compared to JNTU Kakinada. It offers a stronger overall median package (around Rs 9.3 LPA for B.Tech) and better core placement opportunities in the industrial sector.

You can check, find and access more information

No,Candidates cannot enter in Andhra University College of Engineering because they offer b.tech in biotechnology in which maths subject is compulsory for the admission.

So,BIPC students do not meet the eligibility criteria of AUCE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY.

      Good luck!!!

My rank is 17,600 in ap eapcet ,from bc_d category can I get auce or jntuk or jntua or srmupu or svcu clgs in branch of ece

      Hey Praveen,

      Thanks for reaching out!

With a rank of 17,600 in AP EAPCET inder the BC-D category, getting CSE in AUCE,JNTUK or JNTUA is quite unlikely,as their closing rank for B-CD usually ranges below 6,000 - 10,000. However, you have a good chance of getting CSE at SRM University
