Classrooms are spacious and labs are available for all major engineering subjects. some buildings and laboratories are old and need renovation. A few classrooms and equipment feel outdated. Maintenance is not the same everywhere, and some areas need better cleanliness and repair work. Overall, the infrastructure is strong and supportive for studies, but it needs modernization in some parts to match newer engineering colleges.
Teachers are experienced and explain subjects clearly, especially core engineering topics. The syllabus is well planned and helps students build good basic knowledge but some subjects are taught more in a traditional way and need more practicals learning. Most of the time students need to study on their own for exams without any materials provided.
not all students get placed, and high salary packages are limited to only a few top performers. Competition is high because many students apply for the same jobs. Some companies offer average packages, so students need to work on coding skills, projects, and internships on their own to get better opportunities
The pros are that students get good infrastructure, experienced teachers, and placement support without paying very high fees. The cons are that some labs and buildings are old, and placements for top packages are limited to only a few students. Also, students often need to invest in extra skill courses or coding practice to get better job opportunities. Overall, it is good value for money for learning and basic career support, but students must put in extra effort for top results.
The campus is big, green, and clean, which makes it a good place for studying. Students can take part in sports, cultural events, and technical activities, and there are hostels, canteen, and common areas to relax and spend time with friends. The environment is calm and supportive for learning.
College campus is good and peaceful.so I have chosen these college.college campus is classroom are very nice and wide.the college have the nice and projectors. And the college have the following characters nice friends and friendly atmosphe
In these college the campus placements are very high and the students are working nice and working hard in the college faculty are working hard and guide the students in the proper way and good way so it is goo
I am studying m tech .the study of teaching is very good and high level so the teaching of college faculty is good and nice so the college is nice and faculty are encouraging nicely and the encouraged
Campus life is nice and atmosphere is good and nice the college is going to be the best college in the area I am so much glad and clear that this college is good and nice faculty are encouraging nicely and so that the college placement are good
Andhra University college has placements are good and high level.the college has best.i perfer this college for good environment and no violence in greenery and hygiene.this college is suitable for every average students who want decent education at an affordable cost and already and ready to work on their own skills the fee structure is reasonable compared to other private colleges considering infrastructure faculty support it value for money and every thing the faculty members are supporting.
College is very big whole university was built in 300 acres which is also clean and green. Classrooms, library and labs are good with all required equipment and books. While I was studying hostel food was good
I have studied Btech in ECE branch after getting allocated through EAMCET all the lecturers here have good knowledge and they follow updated curriculum and we do field works also the institution is well recognised
Placements here are good and can vary from branch to branch. So students with strong practical skills and communication receive good opportunities. College helps us by conducting placement training sessions
AU has well-equipped infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular needs. The campus is decent with accessible libraries (with wifi) with a wide range of study materials. For those interested in fitness can also use, not very modern, gymnasiums.
Academically, AU is a good option for students who are into self-study but value professional guidance. The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable offering support without being overly restrictive. you will also enjoy the various clubs.
The placement cell organises recruitment drives but the placement opportunities definitely depends on the individual skill and effort. The uni hosts several workshops and talks by industry professionals too.
Andhra University is known for strong academics and diverse departments. Placements are moderate, and some infrastructure requires modernization to better support students, while its long legacy and serene campus add to its reputation.

The college is old . there are pretty old buildings the exteriors aren't so bad but the interiors they suck. there are so many civil students in university I wonder if they're loyal to there college. If it was my home, I'd build it better and guess what they have more money that goes to officials who do nothing m
70% of content is easily accessible. Not just this college but any college. Come on, we live in 2025 . College is a pretty old basic place, it's miles behind what this day and age has to offer, mostly because of stubborn uncles and aunties who hate taking risks and want to stick to what fed them as children (academics). I also wanna talk about freedom. Students in Andhra University are actually freer than other students in colleges around here
Honestly, I don't care about them. My skill is not rooted in studies and even if it did. I'd choose to build my own legacy through my skill. Not run around for validation. I'm willing to take risk 90% of people can't even earn the 8 lakhs they invest in the college as a fee by working the job they get from college. What kind of a trade it is When you invest an amount and the job it gives you takes years the earn the exact figure
Honestly, it's not about Andhra University. The whole education system is a scam. If you know you know . It's not worth the money.
Every college says "no ragging" but truly Andhra University has almost zero ragging. Pretty good. Not bad tho But the world is unjust. You should have your own refuge
Think like the 1% Honestly I'd recommend no college Studies after intermediate is a waste Unless you want to be mediocre Greatness is not found in a place where a bunch of mediocre people meet
the infrastructure is not great the classroom are fine , they contain smart boards, but not the whole campus is like this , drinking water is not available, the toilets are not well maintained in few places, there is no proper wifi on the campus
the curriculum is a bit outdated, but it does include ai, i don't think it makes me job-ready, only few faculty teach well, not all teach well, and few subjects cancel classes frequently, and rush the syll
placements are not good ...................................... Andhra University College of Engineering (AUCE) Visakhapatnam has a median package around ₹5.88 Lakhs per annum for B.Tech in recent years
Even if your starting package is lower than median, say ₹6 LPA, it still is quite good compared with many colleges with higher fees but lower placement performance.Over 4 years, tuition cost for CSE ~ ₹62,000 × 4 = ₹248,000 (≈ ₹2.5 lakhs), plus hostel/mess/etc. Let's assume maybe total cost ~ ₹3–4 lakhs depending on lifestyle, travel,
the staff is supportive, there is no ragging, the faculty is strict and friendly, the make campus safe, the location is safe, so no worry here , the events students can engage are more.................
It have good infrastructure and goos dtructure of building and good facility to stay long and it has good hygenic weather Good college and students behaviour is well mannered and have a good structure
The academics are just perfect to study every resource is available and good environment for every student but you have to study on your own and there will be an app to get materials to study for sem exams
Good placements provided for every year and last year so many got placed but have to perform very well in thrir interviews and placement consultancy is better for students and placement training is done
Yes good value for money and easy to pay
Good campus life to work and study
Nothing just perfect
Well it's a two way thing there is infrastructure(not much) but we can make use of it. We can't expect much of the advanced infrastructure but there must be atleast something which we can make use of, the things are started to change let's hope for the best.
The professors have knowledge they teach, but here if we go to the principles there must be self-study. It's not what university has to offer alone atleast a part of fact that what we can offer ourselves and to the university and make the best out of resources available.
As far as I have heard and the factual proof is that there is a better placement cell here and the students have achieved some very good packages and in my opinion there must be workshops conducted regarding how to face interviews cause correct experience of how to apply knowledge comes though only this type of trainings and again here it is a two door there must be workshops and there must be active participation then only the ecosystem will flourish.
You need to do a lot of self-study that is the way things work in engineering or any professional studies, you will get a first hand experience of self-study and how it should be done or how it is done, here in AU. Well the core principle of university is liberation.
Andhra University has a huge campus with lots of trees and old buildings. Classrooms are basic but okay. Labs and libraries are good. WiFi is available in some places. Hostel rooms are decent, food is average.
Teaching is good. Some professors are very experienced and helpful. The syllabus is detailed and we also get to do practicals and field work. Notes and guidance are provided. Exams are conducted on time.
In this college Placements are average. Some companies come for B.Tech and MBA students. You have to put effort yourself too. Placement cell gives training but more chances depend on the department and your skills.
No,Candidates cannot enter in Andhra University College of Engineering because they offer b.tech in biotechnology in which maths subject is compulsory for the admission.
So,BIPC students do not meet the eligibility criteria of AUCE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY.
Good luck!!!
Hey Praveen,
Thanks for reaching out!
With a rank of 17,600 in AP EAPCET inder the BC-D category, getting CSE in AUCE,JNTUK or JNTUA is quite unlikely,as their closing rank for B-CD usually ranges below 6,000 - 10,000. However, you have a good chance of getting CSE at SRM University
