24 MonthsMaster of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The course is designed to impart a comprehensive understanding of computer applications and information technology. The program is designed in such a way that students can gain knowledge in technical field in areas such as programming, algorithms, and software engineering. It aims to cultivate practical skills in software development, emphasizing system analysis, design, and database management. In addition to that, the curriculum focuses on networking, internet technologies, and project management to prepare students for real-world scenarios.

Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Nationals with a non-zero score in MAH-MCA-CET are eligible.
- For Open Category, candidates need 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) and a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or higher.
- For Reserved Category, 45% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) and a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or higher are required.
- Final-year graduation students can also apply.
- Admission is centralized by DTE, but institute-level seats (MAH-MCA-CET appeared) are also available.
- Candidates must submit 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, and photo ID via email, post, or in person.
- Verified candidates attend a personal interview. Selected candidates must pay fees and submit original documents within the deadline.
Admission Details
Admission to the course is offered based on the performance of students in MAH-MCA-CET. Candidates applying to the institute directly will have to send their 10th, 12th, Graduation marksheet, entrance exam score card, & photo ID proof either by email, by post or in person. Once the documents are verified the students will have to appear for the personal interview. On being selected, the candidate may take admission within the stipulated date by paying the tuition fees and submitting the relevant documents in original.
