The College offers a library of the college that is well stocked and contains numerous books about the course curriculum, as well as certain general interest areas. The library subscribes to various international and national periodicals, journals, magazines, and newspapers. The furnishings of the library also lend to the academic knowledge-promoting aspect, which inculcates among the students and faculty the desire to learn more. Students can borrow books to carry home or for browsing within the library. The books are issued up to 4 p.m. every day, but the library’s Reading Hall remains open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. More than 1000 books are available in the college library. The current status of the material is also available in the library. The Library subscribes to over 24 journals & magazines in print. Access to an additional 1000+ journals is available through electronic resources subscribed to by the Library. Journals & Magazines The library operates in a fully computerized environment. The Library has automated its in-house activities such as library membership, accessioning, circulation of documents, holdings of periodicals, and cataloging as an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). The library mainly provides the following services: Lending Services, Reference and Information Services, Reprography Service, Access to other Libraries’ Resources (Inter-library Loan) (Through DELNET), User education/information literacy programs.
