Here is the procedure for getting admission in CMC Vellore. There are 100 seats in CMC Vellore for MBBS. Out of that only 16 seats are for Open merit Candidates. In this 14, the Central Government sponsors 1 seat. The rest 84 are called sponsored seats. These seats are filled on the basis of merit and preference by candidates of associated churches. In this 84, again 10 are separately for children of CMC staff. And in this 100 seats SC/ST reservations also apply. So 85% of the seats in CMC Vellore are sponsored and only 14 seats are left for open merit. So with 14 seats even 625 marks were less in 2019. You have to aim for atleast 650 if you come under Open Merit Category.

NTRUHS Admission -

Admission to the undergraduate programs is done on the basis of the marks secured by the students in their qualifying examination. For courses such as BAMS, BHMS, the university enrolls the student on the basis of their performance in AP EAMCET, however, a separate entrance examination is conducted for BUMS.


For MBBS and BDS, it is compulsory for the student to have a valid rank in NEET and the selection is based on the choice made by the students in the counseling process.


The university conducts Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) for the admissions to MD, MS, MDS courses. For M.Sc. in Nursing, it is compulsory for the candidates to secure a minimum of 45 marks in the entrance examination (35 marks for SC/ST).

To add to your knowledge, Christian Medical college offers Under Graduate course i.e MBBS(Duration 4.6 Years + 1 year Internship). It also offers Post Graduate courses i.e MD/MS(Duration: 3 Years). For admission In UG/PG Courses you can apply to the college through NEET Scorecard.

Fees Structure for UG course:

MBBS: Rs. 660,000/- (Annual)

Fees Structure for PG course:

MD: Rs. 650,000/- (Annual)

MS: Rs. 650,000/- (Annual)

Christ Medical College, Ludhiana provides optometry course as a 3 year bachelor's course. The full course name is Bsc optometry and ophthalmic techniques. It's a three year semester based course, the admission to which does not require NEET UG. The admission may be on the basis of merit list or entrance examination, depends. The student must have passed his class 12th exams with PCB subject combinations and minimum 50% marks.  The course involves study and  clinical skill development such as measuring eyesight, prescribing correct lenses, detecting eye diseases etc., Hope this helps.

and the cutoff would be 50%.for general category.

CMC Vellore is a Minority Medical College. 74 seats are for Sponsored Candidates, 10 are for Candidates whose parents work with CMC and 16 seats are for Open Merit. There is no concept of paid seats.

The fees structure is as follows:

Tution fees per year: Rs. 3000

One time college fees admission: Rs.8800

Other Annual fees: Rs.15,105

One time payment to University: Rs.13,425.

christian medical college ludhiana is a old private medical college and hospital, however this colleges has really good infrastructure and experienced faculty. however private college tuition  fees is really high compare to government colleges, students who got really good score has opted for government colleges at first priority.

Yes. CMC, vellore is a really good college for nursing. the course will cost you around 1.9lakhs per year including hostel and food. it is a four-year full-time program.The Infrastructure is Excellent, Faculties are Highly trained, Corporate Training and Internships programs are very good so are the Labs and Library. it is a very old and a premier medical college.

here is the eligibilty criteria:

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

• Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
