I would suggest you use the official link provided by the TANCET exam authority to check the category-wise cutoffs of different colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu.          If you have given any of the entrance exam of state or university where you want to get admission ,then on the basis of that score you can get admission. The eligibility criteria set by universities and colleges are 10+2 marks but admission is based on entrance exam conducted by that university or college. If you are state topper  then you may get seat in good college directly.
