CSI College of Dental Science and Research admission is predominantly through national-level entrance examinations for admission to postgraduate and undergraduate courses in dental science. The Undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme requires that the candidate sit for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) entrance examination, thereby ensuring that the candidate is well-acquainted with the basic science subjects and possesses adequate aptitude to study dentistry. Likewise, in the postgraduate Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes, the CSI College of Dental Science and Research considers NEET MDS examination scores.
Eligibility requirements for CSI College of Dental Science and Research admission into the BDS programme stated above comprise passing a 10+2 or equivalent examination in the specified subjects – physics, chemistry, and biology. At the CSI College of Dental Science and Research, BDS five-year NEET UG-based merit-cum-entrance programme has an approved intake of 100. The reservation of seats is administered as per government guidelines. The 10+2 examination must be taken up with subjects in the sciences, namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All relevant minimum percentage requirements have to be adhered to.
There are six disciplines of MDS offered by the college, with three seats each:
MDS programmes last 3 years and admit students based on the merit of their scores in NEET-MDS. The candidate must have obtained a BDS degree from an institution recognised by the Dental Council of India and completed his/her internship.
