Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute library was established in the year 1974 and since then the library has become an integral part of the institute. BBCI library plays a vital role in disseminating clinical information among doctors, trainees, research scholars, students and paramedical staff of the institute and acts as a clinical information center of the institute. It is situated in the 2nd-floor OPD building covering a carpet area of 2058.0 Sq. feet which include stack area and reading room section. The institute has a separate library called Prerana Puthibharal which is specially meant for the patients of the institute. It has a good collection of fiction and non-fiction books.
