Dr ND Desai Faculty of Medical Science and Research, Nadiad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

NDFMSR Nadiad library facility provides various books, journals, theses, magazines, and novels. Students can borrow books from the library for study purposes. The library also has a reading area in which students read books, study for exams, and prepare their assignments. 

The college provides various instruments and pieces of equipment for indoor and outdoor sports. The college conducts sports competitions in which students participate and win lots of prizes. These sports competitions are held at the college, university, district, and state levels. 

NDFMSR Nadiad department-based laboratory facilities are designed for the students. In which faculty members are present to provide the best theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. 

Dr ND Desai Faculty of Medical Science has a medicine and hospital facility for the welfare of the students. Routine health checkups are conducted in the college so that students stay healthy and concentrate better in their academics. 

The college provides a gym facility so that students can stay physically healthy and fit. There are trainers in the gym who help the students perform every exercise in the best manner. 

On campus, there is a huge and spacious cafeteria which provides the best quality food to the students, staff, and faculty members. Students spend most of their free time in the cafeteria because of its calm and student-friendly atmosphere. 

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good accommodation for the students. It is a 232-seater, 116-room, 3-storey building. The boys' hostel has 16 rooms on the ground floor, 33 rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, and 34 rooms on the 3rd floor. Each room has a balcony with two built-in wooden cupboards and is provided with two cots, two tables, two chairs, two ceiling fans, and two tube lights.

The girls hostel consists of 321 seats, 107 rooms, and is a 3-storey building. A total of 17 rooms on the ground floor and 30 rooms each on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors are provided in the girls hostel. Also, water coolers are present on every floor of the hostel. There are female warders present for an affectionate and secure atmosphere.
