ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga Admission Process

Central Karnataka is home to one of India's greatest dental colleges, the ESIC Dental College of Gulbarga. The institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course. Interested applicants can get admission to the ESIC Dental College, primarily through their scores in NEET since it is a national-level qualifying examination for admission into all dental colleges in India. Usually, the academic calendar matches up with that of the NEET, as it is conducted once a year.

Eligibility criteria include the following for admission into the BDS program at ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga:

5. Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation:

  • At the time of seat allotment, pay the required fees within a stipulated time
  • Submit extra documents as may be required by the college. 
  • Receive the admission confirmation letter.

6. Medical Examination: Undergo a medical examination according to the requirements of the college.

7. Orientation and Commencement of Classes:

  • The orientation session for all admitted new students will be held.
  • Classes will then start according to the academic calendar.

Admission Process Degree wise

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery): One of the major five and fully employed years is that of BDS at the ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga. This course leads to a well-structured course in the field of Indian dental sciences, and this is how admissions are carried out:

  1. Candidates must appear for the NEET examination and obtain a qualifying score.
  2. The college admits 62 students per year for the BDS program.
  3. Selection is based on the NEET rank and follows the reservation policies as per government norms.
  4. Candidates meeting the cut-off criteria are called for counseling and document verification.
  5. Finally, the allotment of seats is done, depending on the availability of seats, position of the candidate in merit list.
