The Faculty of Dental Sciences has been established in PDM University, Bahadurgarh, and has launched an excellent, established admission procedure for dental studies. The faculty is accredited by NAAC and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), hence offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dental sciences. The admission to the Faculty of Dental Sciences is through the national-level entrance tests, and selection will be very impartial and competitive for students aiming to pursue dentistry in India. The cycle of Faculty of Dental Sciences admission is synchronised according to the schedule of the national entrance exams. The admissions regarding Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) are held through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). NEET-UG usually begins in February with an examination of the same conducted in May, followed by counseling sessions after the results are announced in June.
The postgraduate courses (MDS) will be based on NEET-MDS for admissions. The NEET-MDS application process almost always starts in February, while the examination takes place during March. Results usually come out by the end of March or early April, after which counseling starts. Eligibility criteria for BDS include completing 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects along with English. A candidate needs to get a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) to qualify for the BDS course. Candidates for MDS programmes must have a BDS degree from a recognised dental college and have completed a year of compulsory rotating internship.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, PDM University has sanctioned intake of 100 students for this course. Faculty of Dental Sciences admission in the BDS course is done purely on the performance of the candidate in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). Since the number of seats is limited, admission is going to be highly competitive.
The Faculty offers eight specialisations in Master of Dental Surgery, with an intake of 3 students each. These eight specializations are Conservative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology, and Prosthodontics and Crown Bridge. Faculty of Dental Sciences admission to all MDS programmes is based on the merit of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for MDS (NEET-MDS).
