      Government Dental College and Research Institute Bangalore provides admission in the branch of Dentistry. GDCRI Bangalore offers degree courses in BDS and MDS. The aspirant who wishes to seek admission to the college must meet the Government Dental College Bangalore eligibility criteria. For admission to BDS, the applicant must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and for MDS, must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS (NEET MDS).

      The Government Dental College Bangalore admissions are conducted by the government bodies of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). KEA manages the state-level counselling, and the MCC is responsible for counselling of All India quota applicants.

      • Admission in the college is through qualifying for the NEET/NEET MDS entrance exams. 
      • To appear in these examinations, the applicant has to register on the official website of the NEET examination. 
      • They need to download the admit card and then appear for the eligible exam on the date decided by the respective authorities. 
      • After securing a valid score in these exams, he/she needs to participate in the counselling rounds of either the state quota (KEA counselling ) or the All India quota (MCC counselling). 
      • The applicant will be allotted to the institute as per their score and rank in the entrance exam, as well as their choice filling preference.

      • The candidate must meet the BDS eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 
      • He/She must obtain a qualifying score in the NEET entrance examination. 
      • The applicant must participate in the KEA/MCC counselling rounds, against state/all India seats. 
      • They have to do the choice filling for the institutes/colleges preferred by him/her in the counselling rounds. 
      • If an applicant is allotted Government Dental College Bangalore, then they must download the allocation/ allotment letter and report to the college at the earliest. 
      • There, they must pay the Government Dental College Bangalore BDS course fee, to finalise admission.

      • The candidate must meet the MDS eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 
      • He/She must pass and secure an eligible score in NEET MDS entrance examination. 
      • The next stage of admission is counselling where the applicant is required to provide the list of institutes they wish to seek admission in, that is the ‘choice filling list’. 
      • The applicant can participate in these counselling rounds through the competent authority of KEA or MCC. 
      • Once, the institute gets allotted to the aspirant, they need to report to the institute for physical verification of documents and pay the Government Dental College Bangalore MDS course fee, to finalise the admission.

      Academics

      I studied Bachelor of Dental Surgery. This is hands down on the best places to learn dentistry. There is a huge patient flow which other private colleges lack. One gets to learn and implement lot of things. Which aren't possible in private institutions

      It is everything you would expect from a dental college run by government. It has all the basic stuff that a college must have. Hostel is one of the best in India. Best place to learn dentistry as discipline.

      Dentistry is a profession where you have to be able to run your own practice after graduation. Government dental college Bangalore is one of the few colleges in India ,where a graduate can confidently start their practice.
