Government First Grade College, Yelahanka Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library facility for all students. The library is provided with more than 21000 books, 17 journals, and 20 magazines which are used as reference material for their participatory learning. 

The college has a Gym facility for all the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for all the students and has an IT committee coordinated under Computer Science HOD. In consultation with faculty and students, the IT committee plans strategies to upgrade the IT infrastructure in the institution. Proposals have been submitted to the DCE for the procurement of 50 systems, 10 printers, 04 LCD Projectors, 05 Laptops, and 02 Xerox machines. 

The college has a full-fledged canteen which is open from 7 am to 6 pm. The college has provided the building, water, and power at a nominal cost.

The college has an open-air auditorium facility for events and seminars which can accommodate 2500 students. Provision has been made for an auditorium in the building expansion plan to be taken up during the year 2015-16.

The college has alumni associations that are convened every year, and the feedback obtained testifies that the exposure provided to the graduates. The suggestions are also implemented.

The College has six laboratories with the latest equipment and consumables for research activities of students and teachers. Adequate grants are earmarked every year by the Department of Collegiate Education for the strengthening of laboratories. The college has appointed laboratory assistants for the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities. 

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has adequate Equipment for games like throwing the ball, volleyball, football, basketball, shuttle bat, and cricket.

The college has 90 computers with a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a first-aid facility and medicines to take care of medical emergencies.
