Thiruvarur Medical College, Thiruvarur (TMC Thiruvarur) by the government as a prestigious medical college. The medical college provides services for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs. TMC Thiruvarur features selective admission to high academic achievers. MBBS: TMC has opened admission to 100 students for MBBS. The selection process is based upon the score from NEET-UG. The application will be open in February for the examination, which will be held in May. Results are usually announced by June for the counseling sessions.
MD/MS Programs: These are a few postgraduate programs offered by TMC Thiruvarur. MD General Medicine (8), MD Anaesthesiology (6), MD Paediatrics (3), MS General Surgery (10), MS Orthopaedics (3), MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2), and MD Emergency Medicine (2). Admission to the above programs will be done through NEET-PG. The NEET-PG exam is usually conducted in January, and the results are announced in March.
For all postgraduate courses, students must be MBBS graduates of recognized universities and have completed the compulsion of internship completion. Admissions are based on the NEET-PG score followed by counseling.
