Executives who have spent a considerable time in the industry as a functional manager, a high-potential future business leader, a next-generation owner of a family-managed business, or a senior service official, feel the need to move up the ladder and take up higher leadership positions. The 20 months Post Graduate eXecutive Program in Management helps these professionals develop general management competencies and prepares them for their aspirations. This world class executive MBA program allows professionals to continue their work as well as leverage classroom learnings at their workplace.
The PGXPM is a 7 term blended, rigorous and fully mentored holistic program with 7.5 days of classroom sessions in each term, with a set of core courses on Finance, Marketing, Operations, Technology and Human Resources Management. These help develop competencies in General Management and Business Leadership, among the 38 courses tailored to suit the Global Business Environment, delivered by distinguished faculty from US, European and Asian B-Schools. The diversity among the participants in terms of industries, sectors and hierarchical levels facilitates the exchange of experiences and building of a close-knit yet distributed network.
The case-study pedagogy forms the basis of the learning process, following through components through the e-learning platform in the following 3 months after each term. The program architecture offers group and executive coaching, 360-degree assessment, and team activities, throughout its course. The Leadership Development program provides an opportunity to the participants to interact and learn from eminent thought leaders and industry stalwarts, and gain first-hand knowledge required to develop leadership acumen. The program also offers residencies, apprenticeship and individual country and vertical-based intensive year-long live projects under a faculty guide, experiential learning through simulations, technology driven virtual classrooms with global connectivity, quasi-consulting for business problems and cases from a participant’s workplace, training in Chinese (Mandarin) and an optional overseas visit in the final term.
