    HIMSR New Delhi Admission Process

    Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi Admission

    HIMSR offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. Admission to MBBS courses is offered on the basis of NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) whereas HIMSR offered admission to MD/MS course on the basis of NEET PG  exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). M.Sc is offered on the basis of the merit of the qualifying exam. Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi offers admission to Master's in Public Health on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination and performance in the interview. HIMSR admission process is given below in details:

    MBBS

    • Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the MBBS course offered by HIMSR.

    • Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for NEET UG Counselling.

    • Further candidates have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment.

    • The counselling is conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

    • Aspirants have to choose Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi for the choice locking during the counselling.

    • After the seat allotment, candidates have to report to Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi for institute level document verification and fee payment.

    • Final admission will be based on the marks secured in NEET UG , participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

    MD/MS Course

    • Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET PG  exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for MD/MS course offered by HIMSR.

    • Medical aspirants have to secure the minimum qualifying percentile and register for the counselling process.

    • Further, candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and they have to choose Mahatma Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi for the choice locking during the counselling.

    • After the seat has been allotted, students have to report to the college and get their documents verified and pay the fee.

    • Final admission will be based on the marks secured in NEET PG , participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.


     M.Sc Programmes

    • Candidates desirous to take admission to the  M.Sc Programmes offered by Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi have to submit an application form on the college website.
    • Admission shall be based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is the aggregate percentage in graduation. 
    • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination and such candidates shall be eligible for the further admission procedure.
    • Shortlisted candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the requisite fee in order to confirm their admission.
    • Thus, the final admission of the candidates will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam, institute-level document verification and fee payment.

    Master's in Public Health

    • Candidates aspiring to pursue Master's in Public Health form HIMSR have to submit an online application and it is to be noted that candidates should have at least 55% marks in their graduation in the relevant field are eligible to apply.
    • Aspirants shall be offered admission on the basis of marks obtained in graduation and performance in the interview and hence candidates shall be shortlisted accordingly.
    • Candidates who have graduated in Health Science and have work experience in the field of health care or its related aspects will be given preference.
    • Shortlisted candidates have to further get their documents verified and then pay the requisite fee. 
    • Final admission shall be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, performance in the interview, document verification and fee payment.

    I have done MBBS to become a doctor.Many professors are the ex faculties of DU and AIIMS. They are well versed in their subjects. The curriculum is same as all India. Hospital have modern technologies. After passing out you can immediately get job in Delhi itself with salary as good as 85000 or more

    The curriculum is regularly updated as per UGC and MCI so the syllabus is up to date as per the need of the time and the teachers r really professional and keep themselves and their teaching methods updated with focus on overall learning including practical skills.

    Hello student,
    Jamia milia humdard University top deemed to be university which is government also provides different kinds of degree including BPT. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT ise 4 years long undergraduate degree course. One should complete that 10 + 2 level with 50% marks in aggregate and with physics chemistry and biology as a compulsory subject to be eligible for this course. Direct total 50 seats are there.
    Both neet candidates and non-neet candidates can apply for this post. Although neet candidates are preferred. For non neet candidates their score in the  examination is only be benchmark for  admission. Merit basis admission is conducted.
