Indira Medical College and Hospital, Thiruvallur is a well known medical college in Tamil Nadu, India. The college provides different medical courses at different levels such as undergraduate and postgraduate. IMCH admission has different eligibility criteria for MBBS which is usually a 10+2 examination in core subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology , English with a NEET score.

IMCH seat intake is different for every course and the duration of each course is also different. The highest seat intake of 250 students is for MBBS in IMCH. For MD/MS admission, the candidate should have a degree of MBBS and NEET-PG score.

• Apply for the entrance examination that is required for the admission in the desired course.

• Appear for the entrance examination. 

• On the basis of the rank scored in the examination, a candidate must apply for the counselling process.

• If a seat is allotted in the counselling process, the candidate is required to submit all the original required documents in the college within the time period mentioned.

For admission in IMCH, candidates need to appear for NEET UG examination  for MBBS course and appear for the state level counselling. The college offers only one UG course that is MBBS.

IMCH MD/MS Admission Process 

• NEET-PG examination score is required for the admission in IMCH PG courses. 

• Apply for the counselling procedure of postgraduate medical admissions.

• The cutoff will be released. 

• In the counselling process select the preferred postgraduate course in IMCH.

• If a seat is allotted, complete the admission process. 

• After completion of the admission process, report to the college within the time period that is mentioned and verify all the documents that are required and pay the college fee.
