Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: Primarily, B.Sc Nursing is the flagship program at Kamineni Institute with an intake of 100 students. The four-year course is offered to candidates whose performance in the 10+2 examination is rated on the basis of mandatory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Selection process may involve an entrance test followed by counselling.

M.Sc Nursing: The Institute offers M.Sc Nursing programs with various specializations, 5 seats for each. The fields of specialization are:

  1. M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing
  2. M.Sc Child Health Nursing
  3. M.Sc Community Health Nursing
  4. M.Sc Mental Health Nursing
  5. M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing

The candidate must be a holder of B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from any recognized institution to be eligible for admission into M.Sc Nursing programs. The general selection process entails either an entrance examination or merit-based selection.

Post Basic Diploma in Operation Room Nursing: In these areas, it is a specialized diploma program with an intake of 15 students. The candidates must have a B.Sc Nursing or equivalent nursing degree for application. The selection is based usually on review of the candidate's academic performance and interview.
