36 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Zoology is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
The department has three well-equipped laboratories and an Instrument Room with instruments like UV spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, Microscopes, refrigerated centrifuge, centrifuges, autoclave, BOD incubator, oven, bomb colorimeter, electrophoresis kits, UV transilluminator, -20C refrigerator, pH meter, digital balance, etc. and the necessary infrastructure to meet the academic demands of the students. The department also has a well-stocked museum with innumerable animal specimens, slides, illustrative charts, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.

The labs are well maintained and equipped with varying specimens.Living spaces,Canteen food ,etc is clean and hygienic.The hostel is just beside the college and serves to be very convenient for the students.
