The building of my college was in a huge campus which had running grounds and it was very green. I especially liked the lab facilities of my college which had all the necessary equipments and was well equipped.

It was a government college at my time so the teachers were not supportive but they were amazing in teaching. It comes second only to ICT in Maharashtra for its chemical department. Traditional and technical oriented curriculum.

Placements were very good because we had alumni support because of this very good companies used to come like Asian paints, Mahindra, Honeywell etc. we had placement committee but there was biasness between chemical engineering and chemical technology batches.

Not So Good, They have most of the equipment required to do research work but they still need to upgrade. No wifi, hostel rooms are old and not renovated. Classrooms are not modern and not well maintained.

They still refer to the old syllabus. Many new tech and innovations have been done till now, which is absent in the syllabus. The curriculum does not focus on the overall skill development of the student.

Placements are restricted to the Chemical Engineering Students. Most of the Chemical technology students are not allowed to sit in the chemical engineer placement process. Chemical Technology placements are quite lower in terms of numbers as well as the average package offered.

Being a government college, the fees is quite less as compared to the other engineering colleges in the Maharashtra state. They need to build more infrastructure and focus on the overall skill development of the candidate

Campus life is not that interesting as they don't have many clubs or committees. They have some events like LITMUN, Merge and REACT, but that too doesn't observe much participation from other colleges.

College have all necessary facilitate including all basic things like Library , all equipment , well infrastructure . The col- lete has highly qualified faculty ,which is committed to imparting the best knowledge and they are actively engaged in training the students.

Laxminarayan Institute of technology established in 1942 is an autonomous university. It is premier institute of technology education in the field of chemical engineering and technology in country. The sprawling 78 acre campus acts as a sanctum of learning. The institute hace well B.Tech and M.tech as well as PhD student intake. The quality of study is just phenomenal. One of consistent college of chemical engineering and technology .

The placement record is just fantastic . With 90% of placement percentage. Highest packaged offered was 12 LPA it's goes to Chemical engineering course. Average salary offered is 6.5 LPA . And whole placement process is smooth and pleasant, and totally satisfied.

Not more 50 thousands per year.

Yes,my have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. There are many laboratories in my college for different types of technology just like food technology, petrochemical ,paper technology.etc

In my college first priority is given to the studies with other activities as well to get placed in great companies. the placement has always been the top priority of the institute with the mission of great success. not only this, various activities like guest lectures from renowned personality of industrial background is regularly arranged. and we know, it is best chemical engineering college in asia.

LIT is the most reputed college of engineering in india, especially for chemical engineering, hostel life is awesome and fantastic, LIT gives 100%placement, it also involves many other extra circular activities which gives you best information, GFC, LITMUN, REACT, HOSTEL DAY, LITAA, thse are some programmes held by LIT

I'm doing B.TECH in chemical engineering in this college and my fees is around 45 to 50 thousands rupees.yes I'm getting my money worth as the academic and education of the college and it is infence my knowledge.

It has many clubs which organize many cultural events and activities which creates entertainment opportunities inside the college campus.my college has good sport facilities which help students to develop dear skills.

LIT has a good reputation as far on academics concern. Though while taking admissions, basically we are focused on placement, so in reference to that chemical engineering students are better opted for recruitment. Other branches as petrochemical, food, surface coating, plastic and polymer,oil, pulp and paper technology too do have placement stats but comparatively quite less. Best is always preferred. Contrary to this, holding certificate from LIT has its value in mere future.
