- H.S.C. Vocational -The sum of the percentage of marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Vocational Subjects taken together.

- MBC/DNC-40%.
- SC/ST- Just passed in Qualifying Examination
- Management- 55% average in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry put together irrespective of community
- Diploma Holders -The sum of the percentage of marks in the Pre-Final Semester and Final Semester taken together.
- OC-120/200 or 60%
- BC- 110/200 or 55 %
- SC/ST- 100/200 or 50%
- B.Sc Degree Holders- Those with Maths as a compulsory subject can also join in the second year directly.
- Lateral Entry - Direct Admission to Second Year No age limit
