Maharashtra Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Nashik, offers seven postgraduate courses in medicine and allied sciences. The MPGIMER courses include MD Anaesthesiology, MD General Surgery, MD General Medicine, MD Paediatrics, MD Emergency Medicine, MD Orthopaedics and MD Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prospective students must have a recognised medical d fegreerom a recognised medical college. The MPGIMER selection process is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET PG entrance exam and interview. In order to be admitted, applicants must meet the MPGIMER  eligibility requirements. Additionally, they must also satisfy the conditions set by the institution.

The Maharashtra Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research offers Doctor of Medicine courses in different disciplines. The duration of the MPGIMER MD course is three years.

• Applicants should have completed MBBS from a recognised institution.
