Age qualification: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year in which they are seeking admission to the MBBS course.

Qualifying examination: Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination. The last two years of study should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English as a core subject.

Candidates must have completed the intermediate examination in science from an Indian University/ Board or recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects along with a practical test in these subjects and English as a compulsory subject.

Candidates can take the pre-professional/ pre-medical examination after passing the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or equivalent examination. The pre-professional/ pre-medical examination should include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.

Candidates must have completed the first year of a three-year degree course from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects along with a practical test in these subjects.

Candidates must have passed the BSc examination with at least two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

To secure a seat at MIMS, Bhopal candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps.

Registration: NEET qualified candidates are required to fill MP MBBS application form by entering their personal information, academic information, and communication information, uploading the required documents and paying application fee.
Choice filling and locking: After successful registration, candidates need to fill and lock their preferences of colleges and courses.
Counselling: Once the choice filling and locking process is over, the MP state authority conducts the counselling process in online mode. Each round of counselling is conducted in accordance with the schedule released by the authorities. Candidates are allotted seats based on their choices, seat availability and various other factors.
Seat allotment result: The authority publishes the seat allotment result in PDF format.
Reporting and paying admission fee: Candidates who are allotted MIMS, Bhopal are required to report at the institute within the stipulated time period and pay admission fee to secure their seat in the institute.
