48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Information Technology is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women, Secunderabad recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission Details
- A percentage of the seats are filled-in through EAMCET on basis of the rank secured by the candidates. EAMCET entrance test is conducted by the convener, who is appointed by the A.P State Council for Higher Education.
- A percentage of the seats are filled-in by the management under NRI quota. The eligibility criterion for this quota is that, the candidates seeking admission should possess 60% overall or in group or in equivalent subjects.
- Ten percent of the seats are filled at the Second year level through ECET lateral entry scheme on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate.
